Unfortunately that will be the case and that might cause the atmosphere to go even more rancid.
Spurs to lose the game fan's get more bitter rinse and repeat you can see it coming not nice but much of it self evident and inflicted.
Things will need to get more toxic for anything to happen. I hope the fans dont let up on ENIC tomorrrow. Make it EXTREMELY uncomfortable for Levy.

If he wants to go, let him go. Fuck him.

I think a lot of people (myself included) naively thought he was part of the dying breed of players that are actually loyal.

If he loved the club, he would stay. It’s simple.

He’s fucking adored by the whole fan base and he earns £300k a week from his boyhood club.

To some footballers money isn't everything, kane would like to achieve some success on the pitch and he thinks he won't be able to do that here.

Trix, Herc and JJ have all pooh poohed him being sold this summer.

Herc has pooh poohed there being a gentleman’s agreement with Levy.

Dragon has confirmed Kane is frustrated, but pooh poohed him asking to leave, as has Ally Gold.
Cheers for that.

I guess that only leaves man city to make an offer that Levy accepts and leaves us fans feeling like we've been pooh poohed all over head to toe

I posted this above - but the record signing for anyone 29+ is £88m - Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus - the only player 29+ in the top-10 highest transfers.

If Levy can get £120m+ this summer - he should jump.

But, I don't think the market for Kane will be as high as everyone seems to assume. Kane is a great player, but its not a long-term buy for a club, and he has in injury history.

Eden Hazard was nigh on the same age as Harry will be next summer when he moved to Madrid for a huge fee. And he isn't as good or as important a player as Harry.

And, to repeat, you have to factor in that the market will be depressed this summer. Not a good time to sell.

And that's considered one of the biggest transfer mistakes in recent years!

People need to chill out. This is going to be a long summer of the press pushing Kane to other clubs. Should he stay, it’ll just carry on in January and next summer too.

One thing I’m certain of though is that Levy is not going to let anyone rush him to sell his biggest asset before the euros.

This is a bit of a misnomer when it comes to players like Kane - there is not a large market for him in even the best of times. Only a handful of teams in the world could afford him. Those teams are much less affected by COVID than for most teams.

Unfortunately for Levy most of those teams are in England.

On top of that - now is the perfect time to sell Kane to a financially doped team - as that gives Spurs money to buy into a depressed market. It really is the best of both worlds.

We need a massive gamble to win anything. And ENIC needs a massive gamble to sell at what they would want. The value of the club is tanking by the minute. With the amount of debt they’ve saddled us, the extreme disconnect and toxicity between club, trust & fans, the best striker in the world who is an academy product wanting to leave like yesterday. Stadium & training ground can only do so much. And what good are they when the team is stuck in the doldrums? Our value is taking a nosedive at the moment. And that is all on Levy.

Agree, we don't just need a stabilising season we need a massive upturn both on and off the pitch.

When Poch got us top 4 repeatedly the money was coming in through CL revenues and the stadium was going to help us compete massively. The fact is you are not getting major sponsors for the stadium and huge revenues from tickets and spend on match days if we are languishing between midtable and 6th.

Levy has to do something to turn the club completely around, we are on a rapid decline and don't have the history of United, Liverpool or dare I say it Arsenal to still compete when not in the CL, we will not pay the wages to attract big players if we are not bringing the money in.

I have a horrible feeling that Levy is going to try and bring in an Allegri or someone of a similar ilk to appease this situation, thinking a successful manager can change our fortunes when it is clear we need a squad overhaul.

You are spot on, if he loves us that much why to run to Sky, why to say it prior to 2 important games and lastly why to do it to your so called friend

Unless we do receive that bid that nobody could be upset at receiving, Kane will need to down tools to leave. To down tools will mean to either not play, or play having not trained well enough to be effective. Either of those options will threaten his ability to break the Shearer record.

Does anybody believe Kane wants to leave so badly that he’d threaten his opportunity to go down as the top ever premier league goalscorer?

For him to leave this summer, someone needs to bid an amount which any of us would also willingly accept and drive him there ourselves. Levy won’t sell unless he believes he is getting the better end of the deal. Levy doesn’t do ‘best for the player, fairest, whatever’. Levy does what he believes will leave the club better off. Next summer that means accepting value if Kane doesn’t renew. This summer that means accepting over the odds.

Over the odds may well happen, but if it does, then I reckon we’re looking at a faster rebuild than any of us expected.

Why are so many people obsessed with Levy having no hair, and use it as some sort of stick to beat him with?

He may well be a ****. Many of us may well have a growing dislike for him because of how he's done certain things within the club. So why not just elaborate on those points?

Baldy this, baldy that. Why? He's not Sampson. Being bald isn't relevant to anything, is it?

Receding hairline Coops? ?

I am sure there is an element of truth to the whole story but the media clambering to sell Kane and any other player not currently at an ‘elite’ club to one of the elite clubs, just a few weeks after getting on their high horse about the elitist nature of the Super League, is pretty disgusting.
