I have to preface this even though it goes without saying that he is a fantastic player and how he has adapted his style is truly a sight to behold.

However I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned with how he consistently comes deep when moves are going a certain way, Conte spoke before he was ever at Spurs about how he would have Kane in the box yet we still say Kane coming deep.

He is clearly devastating at it however I think sometimes, it feels like we lack texture to our moves, that it's predictable and we don't have that situation where Kane is unstoppable because 99% of the time the defender knows he's going to come to the ball where as if he varied it up then the defender wouldn't know what to do, I've kind of assumed he's not capable of it anymore due to injuries but I'd love to see him overcome it. I also think the way he scores isn't the same as before, I think 2nd full season under Poch the way he would strike a ball was unstoppable especially outside the box, I don't feel for a few seasons now we have seen that level of consistency in the finishing technique.

Credit to him for adapting his game and finding different approaches, he's found different moves to create space for the finishes but I don't think he shows that devastating finisher as consistently as he once did but we do from time to time to get to see some of the best all round performances from a striker as you're ever likely to see in his current iteration such as vs City and the 3-3 vs West ham but defenders have got wise to it so I think he has to adapt again. No doubt he will but I had wondered if physical injuries were causing certain limitations

Another nail in the coffin for our medical department if players think they are better off getting their own physios rather than using the club ones.
