Harry Kane has agreed to join Bayern Munich and personal terms are in place on a proposed four-year contract.. The England captain, 30, is now waiting for a green light from Tottenham Hotspur to travel for a medical and to complete the transfer.

Disappointed, but not as empty as I’ve felt by previous losses.
For a start, the magic spell of us and Kane was already broken after the man city thing for me. Loved having those extra seasons, but after that summer I knew it wasn’t unconditional love from his end, so that changed things subtly.
And then there is just a feeling of hope and newness about the club going into this season. It would be better with him, but I see a path forward.
I guess I’m just older too. These things will always happen whether it’sa sale or gradual painful decline in form. It all ends. And I chose to remember what he gave us and not focus on the ending.
Best wishes Harry you legend.

I'm gutted to see Harry go just been a sensation from his humble beginnings where he even had a stint in goal for us to becoming our all time record goalscorer.

I doubt we will ever have a player like him again. 'He's one of our own' just deserved so many trophies to go with those goals unfortunately that remains the empty part. His professionalism throughout has been impeccable absolutely top draw and rightfully so a club legend.

Realise this deal had to be done however just short of the start of our new season and for a fee which is rumoured to be shy of the 100 million wanted it's either going to be a season of wonder or disaster. Our hierarchy unfortunately continues to show the latter.

we need to move on.

i already accepted this one month ago.

i am disappointed, and it was the hope that he might sign a contract that killed me....

but we need to look forward, wish him well, and do the best we can without him.

A sad sad day for the club and us fans.

I'm gutted and disappointed he's going, I wish him well over there unless he's playing against us at any point.

Now we need to get behind the team in a big way, I'm sure his teammates are feeling as deflated as the fans over him going.

Whoever we get to come in will never be able to fill the gaping void he has left, so fans need to have patience and show the team how much we care, inspire some passion into the team.

Sad, disappointed and happy this is coming to an end.

He wasn't going to sign an extension for us and for him to walk on a free next year would have been crazy.

Financially it is profitable for the club however in terms of progressing on the playing side; we will have to evaluate at the end of the season.

Best wishes H.
One of our own and a club Super legend.
We probably won't see his like again
not in my life-time anyway
Time for Richarlison, Son and Dane to step up.
The road is clear.
No excuses.

Its one of those occasions, you dont appreciate/realise what you have lost, once they have gone.

Even though we won no trophies with Kane but for Spurs, I think having Kane in our team was the trophy. jU.gif

Gutted that he's off.
Baffled that he's going to Bayern.
Relieved he's not going to an EPL club.
Relieved that the circus surrounding him is leaving town.
Confident Levy has included some tasty clauses in the deal.
Hopeful he might be back sooner rather than later.
Grateful Postecoglou doesn't have to deal with the constant shit from the media.
Excited that this could be a whole fresh start without distractions for the whole squad.
Hopeful that Kane sees us succeed and wonders why he didn't just sign up for it.

COYS!! Prove him wrong!

He was the real deal.

He was one of us.

A lot of us have grown up with him.

But at the age of 30, your life is really only just getting going; And who wouldn't jump at the chance of an exciting new life abroad? I absolutely do not begrudge him that.

Ignore the noise, embrace one of our greatest ever footballers and that he gave us his best years. I wish him well and welcome him back in future years as one of our own.

Sad that he’s been duped into this “where’s your trophies” bollocks when immortal status was otherwise attainable and there for him in the form of the PL top scorer.
