Think it’s quite coincidental timing after becoming obvious we aren’t signing a striker that Spurs fans get a video of Kane stretching his leg to keep us going

I think Kane needs the rest of the season off and he needs to not play for England in the summer. He always rushes himself back to health. Sometimes you need to let your body heal at it's own pace. That may be why he has so many injuries.

Will be a pain in the arse if he misses the rest of the season and then plays in the Euros and either picks up a knock or we get him back knackered.

I think Kane and the medical staff have a better idea of how ready Kane is and how much rest he needs.
I don't think Kane does to be honest. That's part of the problem. From what we hear, he's always pushing himself hard to get back sooner, rather than later. He wants to play. Just because he 'feels great', doesn't mean he's ready to return. I image some injuries require a period of time, even after healing, to settle. (What do I know??).

Bit harsh

I have never known him to have a relapse after coming back from an injury.

Keep it up Harry, we need you back ASAP.

I think we all need to accept that whilst he is able to walk he is going to the Euros . I just hope we don't rush him back before he is ready

I dont know either lol.
Most of Kanes injuries have been inflicted by some bastard jumping on his ankle though, not pulling up through fatigue.
This current one could be argued he's been overplayed but it wasnt even halfway through the season. If he's dead on his feet in December then we are in trouble.
Anyway we'll see. Hope he'll be back sooner rather than later.

It's strange that we went from being famous for being super fit a few years ago, to, our players looking knackered with 20 minutes to go.

Agree but theres been a lot going on which wasnt tiredness imo but more a general lack of effort.
The players werent respondong to Poch and we had Rose, Eriksen, Toby and Verts all looking to move on, then cjange of manager and those bad eggs were still here until this week.
Really feels to me like our season starts against Man City. Fresh faces and apart from Verts everyone is settled.
Gonna be interesting to see how JM fits in Lo Celso, Ndombele, Fernandes and Bergwijn.
If it clicks, and it wouldnt have to click brilliantly, we could march to 4th as everyone else is shit. On the other hand it may take the summer.
Be more confident with a striker in the 11 though. Funny that lol.

We're going to need quality back ups in every position. We're not just filling gaps in the squad. I think that's part of the problem we've had previously, our first 11 were quality, but not so much the bench, so we end up over-playing certain positions. As you say, bad eggs n' all that. It's reminiscent of when Poch took over. I'm actually a rare breed of Spurs fan, I'm excited by the signings we've made since the summer and I think we're going to go further than what Poch's teams did. It's going to take time.
