They've conceded possession in 3 of the 4 games they've played. The only team they out possessed was Grenada. They like to attack, but they can't defend. I mean they shipped 5 goals to really poor Panama and El Salvador teams. We've only given up 1 goal all tournament and it was a penalty. Obviously the US has struggled going forward, but I think we match up better against Qatar than the normal CONCACAF teams we play. Mexico with their A team will probably put us to the sword in the final, but I think Qatar is overrated.

I dont think anyone in this tournament is over-rated.

Qatar had 17 shots but only 2 hit the target. They looked gassed the last 15 minutes.

great win for usa. i found the whole 'c team' thing quite defeatist, and this will bring great confidence to us soccer to have been able to down a near full-strength mexico.

also fair play to berhalter, whose appointment was slated. he's got his teams playing very well.

as for the quality of the game....best just to say congrats to usa again!
