A small consolation to all family and friends - but he gained love and respect in a very short time from the true Spurs supporters because he put hid heart and soul into our club. Thank you, may your god go with you.

I would imagine Conte is going to be heartbroken from this and no time between games to get your head around it and properly grieve. RIP.

Feel very saddened by this. I know it sounds silly but I felt a connection to him as a character because of how highly our players spoke of him. That’s a mark of a man when players speak so highly of someone that makes them suffer. May he rest in peace and I hope the club are giving his family, Conte, the staff and players the support they need at this sad time

Oh dear it sounds like it was all so sudden. One day he is here then the next he is gone. A sad day.

RIP Coach.

did a “love” rating to the OP this morning when there was only 1 reply and I was in a rush so couldnt read more. Only had the chance to catch up on this properly now and every account I’ve read emphasises how much of an absolute diamond of a bloke he was. Fucking cancer always takes the good ones… ? RIP hero.

Very sad indeed, sounds like he was a really amazing person by every account and how much those around him loved and admired him.

It was just a couple of weeks ago that my family and me were fearing a leukemia diagnosis for my dad. Luckily enough it turned out to be something else (which is also serious, mind you). I'm just gonna thank God about my dad, and also about the great life Gian Piero seems to have lived. Rest in piece Coach.

As I mentioned above this can be very rapid and fatal. I don't thionk anything could have been done as the prognosis is very poor if I'm correct.

"I think he might have had a type of Acute promyelocytic leukaemia, a malignant subtype of acute myeloid leukaemia (AML).

This can be extremely rapid with death from bleeding, infection, etc. from my understanding".

Terrible news for his family.

Very sad

RIP
If it was undiagnosed APL, this is even more sad… it’s the most curable form of acute myeloid leukemia, if you have time to treat it.
