the cup final win will do gazza the world of good. The man has sadly lost it without the influence of football in his life. It really is his everything. But seeing Spurs lift the cup yesterday can only help the man.

Best of luck with your recovery Gazza.

What with gazza in recovery and us moaning about how bad our midfield is at the moment thought i'd post a youtube clip to remind us how good it used to be. An artist at work oh to have a player like him at centre mid now!!!! Wish i could have seen him play in the flesh.

i dont think he'll ever return to normal. i saw a picture of him from when he was managing kettering town i think and his in the dug out wearing a suit that looks about 3 sizes too big like he'd turned up straight from the night before. Such a shame. God bless u gazza and get better soon.

To be honest, I can't see the Spurs victory doing much to help him.

People act like he's just a little bit sad at the moment and that the football team he used to play for 17 years ago winning a cup will cheer him up. The man is suffering from serious mental illness and has been sectioned. I doubt very much he gives a f**k about Spurs right now.

Gazza = Legend, he gave me so much Happiness.
Does anyone remember that before a game in the warm-up, he used to point to a copper walking around the pitch, then launch the ball 30-40 yards and knock the coppers hat off.! Quality and Ive seen him do it several times so no fluke.

I ordered the 125 year anniversary dvd the other day and it arrived last nite so i watched it, as many on there said (along with hoddle) one of the best players ever to come out of england and probably my all time favorite spurs player, if he hadn't had that injury in the 91 final i'm sure he would have been even better.

remember when he was injured (or sub) for a game and he sat on the bench eating popcorn!!
he saw the camera was on him so he kept scoffing his face as fast as he could!! absolute legend.

I would nt bet on it!
He loves the club. Even on his return when he was playin for boro i think it was he appeard a little emotional taking a corner having 'YIDO YIDO YIDO' chanted at him
