He's looks a talent but i'm not totally sure what kind of player he is yet. Doesn't seem to have great dribbling or close control, haven't really seen his passing range and not sure if he a great tackler.

He has definitely got something about him but tbh I just haven't seen enough of him to make my mind up either way.

I would say a cross between Gerrard and Lampard is what he reminds me of. Gerrard's athletic power and drive, and Lampard's timing of runs into the box and finishing. Obviously, not saying he will achieve either of their levels, just a style thing.

A skinny Toure for me

Yeah Toure is a better comparison for me because he seems to have that power that players like Lampard don't have.

Yeah and a tall player who seems as comfy strolling around at the back picking the ball up off the cb's as he does charging in to the box and smashing the ball in.

Hope we don't burn him out now that we are short on decent CM options...

I have watched him many times over the past two years for MK Dons (as is my 2nd team) and to be honest he was sensational in League-1! He can play deep or in the no.10 role so really is all round!

I was wondering if he would easily translate it to premiership level and that it might take a year or two, but he could just be one of those players that get better and better the higher the level they play (Anderton was a lot like this). I think we will find he will have the same impact as Kane has had over the last 12 months in the next 18+ months (barring injury etc.).

From people I know, that know him very well, he just loves football, he has got an arrogance about him, but tell me a great player that does not?

In terms of comparisons he is more Gerrard than the other comparisons, which is why I am surprised Spurs have played him so advanced, but maybe that is a risk thing, letting him make his mistakes and impact the game further up the pitch!

Gerrard in his early years was an attacking midfeilder, as he got older and the injurys started taking their toll he was gradually moved further and further back.

I love what I have seen of him, not just his ability on the ball but so far he hasn't hidden away and tries to make himself available for the pass, he just has that swagger and confidence that in a player of his years is great to see.

He looks very raw from what I've seen of him in the few minutes he's played for us. Don't know if it's his running style but he reminds me of a young jenas. Not that people will like that comparison. Hopefully composure will come once he feels more comfortable in this team and league.

He's a good lad.
He's a Gazza, Rooney type that just loves playing the game.
He would go to the park for a kick about with his mates.
He's been like that from a very young age.
Takes everything on board and loads of potential.
Glad he came here, we very lucky, Liverpool were very interested a couple of seasons back.

You can just tell by watching some players immediately that they are quality. It's a certain relaxed confidence in their play. This guy has lots of it.

Telling sentence in that piece made more runs in the time that he was on then the man he replaced Eriksen. says quite a lot about both players doesn't it? I think I know which one will have more impact here over the next few seasons and it isn't the Dane.
This kid could be our best signing since the young Bale.

They are different players. Eriksen has different strengths, let's hope they both flourish it's a team game.
