Sky Sports saying deal could reach 40m. Add ons must be off the chart for that (scores first ever goal on the Moon or something similar).

This window shows who were the "issues" in the dressing room; Ndombele, Alli, Lo Celso.

All of them very talented players, but too inconsistent and with low work morale.

I'm saddened by Dele going. Tjat goal against Palace was one of the greatest goals ever. I don't know what went wrong but I do hope he gets back on track, just not against us.

Just think, at one point we had Kane, Dele, Son and Eriksen all at their peak and that was incredible.

Plays 5 passes forward that reaches a player on his team
Runs more than 5k in a game

The lad clearly needs a fresh start. Away from his comfort zone where he can start anew.

Wish him well, I think we'll see Lampard get a tune out of him. It just wasn't happening here for whatever reason.

Hopefully not against spurs, and I hope he gets a warm reception when he comes back to the lane.

Quite a big, bold and risky signing from Lampard.

Very interested to see how he does with a fresh start.

Is this actually official?

And to think Ndombele and lo celso were the start of our 'painful rebuild'. It certainly was painful, but not in the way Poch meant. Glad they're gone, will always keep a soft spot for Dele though. He just got lost. I don't think he'll ever be seen as a superstar again but he will have his flashes and moments.

I think it's a good deal for both parties. We make a nice profit on what we payed for him and probably had his best years and maybe Lampard can get him back to something like his best. I wish the boy well.

Its a bittersweet feeling.
loved him in his prime, with Kane, Son, Eriksen, Dembele etc - how did that team never win anything.
Probably the best thing for both parties and hope he can rediscover his form and love for the game.

I'd love to know the details of this deal. What happens if he never plays twenty times for Everton, presumably there's some clause that.... What?
The sanity clause ??well he don't exist ?

If Everton have any sense, they simply sell him to Newcastle in the summer for £10m.
For our part, it was effectively a free transfer. Incredible, when you think what he was worth 3 years ago.
Then the next summer, we buy him off newcastle for £15m.
