Despite the Premier League's grandstanding statement (which probably didn't help - it read like British exceptionalism), we have zero power to deny a callup for competitive games. It sounds like the agreement is indeed as you said, but only by negotiation - if the Argentinians wanted to just play them in the third game, they could.Am I right in saying we've only released our players for the first 2 games and not the third?
