There’s a great Twitter account @footyscran which displays the best and worst food available at different football grounds.
The food at the new stadium seems to be some of the most varied.
Any ideas where I can find this?
Had one at the end of last season and you need to be hungry to deal with it.I had a pulled pork hot dog yesterday. Got so say it’s was epic
And they get zero benefit from that as they’re just the tenants. Good job.Cost of drinks and snacks at West Ham View attachment 115388
This one?...the Telegraph article on this (not linking though since it’s paywalled, sadly).
Why would they change it? Heineken had a stake in beavertown before, they have just bought them for the brand…can’t see anything changing it’s too profitableThis isn’t so much about the food itself and more about a stadium concessionaire but I do wonder what would happen to the stadium microbrewery now that Beavertown is sold completely to Heineken.
On one hand, it entrenches Heineken’s involvement with the team even further since Heineken is Spurs’ current beer sponsor. On the other hand however, it makes you wonder if the microbrewery would stay since Heineken would definitely seek to consolidate production and they’ve done the brewery close-and-reshuffle jig before to other smaller breweries according to the Telegraph article on this (not linking though since it’s paywalled, sadly).
Real shame. My fave yank tipple, Goose Island, is now brewed in the uk and is not the same. It has joined the chemical beer brewing industry. They have to add the chemicals to get the taste on a large scale. Costs a fortune to buy as export. Still I will enjoy searching for a new fave sherbet.
