You having a "woody" over him after only one game? I think your assessment is weighted with bias.
In my opinion King and Dawson (although not as good as woody) have done the same over and over again, so "dising" them the way you are makes me wonder what type of supporter you are.
I wonder if you will start another thread when he shies from his first ball. Yes he is brave alright, ask that innocent bloke that he and his friends messed up but got away with on a technicality. I would like to call you something but the last time I did I was warned.......... but there you go.
In no way have I been "dising" our defenders. Highlighting that some of them so not show bravery in electing to turn away from a shot instead of closing down the ball isn't disrespecting them it's telling it straight. King is a legend, and top class. However few would argue that Dawson is top class. He's a great lad, needs guidance from the likes of King, usually bravery and determined but in more than one or two crucial occasions he has shied away instead of confronting the striker and ball. What Woodgate may, or may not, have done in the distant past is no concern to me, what he does now as a Spurs player does. And after a season where Spurs have had one of the worst defenses in the Premiership, any Spurs fan should have a "woody" over the signing of top class defenders. Especially with a League Cup Final and a UEFA Cup to win. So there :shake:!
