I tuned into channel 402 on Sky last night which i thought was sky sports permier league but it turned out to be MUTV. They had 2 former passionate players as pundits, another former player as a commentator and the main commentator had a crush on pogba and Fernandes. I genuinely thought last night i was watching Team A vs Man U.

It didnt seem to matter who the opponent was for Man U as it was all aout them. The bias was so frustrating to watch and it has made me decide to cancel sky when my contract comes to an end.

Last night wasnt the first time to be fair. The bias towards Man u and liverpool on (refereeing decisions) and off the pitch throughout the years is getting nauseating to the point where i am asking, what is the point. It seems like everything is setup for these 2 teams to succeed.

If spurs dont make top 5 or 4, I hope Man city get their ban overturned. If we continue on our decline, i hope the saudis buy Newcastle and ensure Man U and Liverpool dont win a thing again.

Rant over lol

They're by some distance the two biggest clubs in terms of fanbase. There's always going to be an incentive for the broadcaster to appeal to them. But the idea everything's set up for them to succeed is mad. United have been pretty garbage ever since Fergie left, nowhere near titles and out of the Champions League more often than they're in it. Liverpool were even worse pre-Klopp, a team that only got into the Europa in a good year.

I cancelled my now tv pass after last night. Not because of bias but generally how awful the commentary and punditry is.

Also since when did you have to pay extra for hd?

Let the likes of Neville get giddy over the 'new United' he's got excited on numerous occasions now only for them to fall flat.

It's only natural that the likes of Neville, Carragher and Keane are more passionate when speaking about those clubs. So, sure, there's bias on their part. But the only thing Sky are biased towards is more views.

I don't watch Sky any more because I find the punditry boring and they always focus on the wrong aspects.

One fact I learnt is that, including yesterday's game, we haven't been given a penalty against Utd for the last 56 games!
Also, since the start of last season, Utd have been awarded 23 penalties! 23! Nine more than any other team in that time.
You could say it's because they are an attacking team getting into good positions etc, but how many were like yesterday, when Pogba hooked his foot behind Dier's?

I would have thought what's going on in the world would have brought a lot of this crap into perspective. It's nothing, certainly not worth being annoyed about and definitely not when you have the choice to stop watching.

This stuff, after day one back as well, is not actually a thing. Or even close. The coverage is the coverage, that's how they've rolled for donkey's years. But if it simply has to annoy you then as I said, stop watching it, as one or two have also said they've done. Nobody is bending you over with a 18 inch dill poised at the point of entry and forcing you. Not that one or two of you would mind that :woot:

The worst of it is, i'd bet all four of my testicles that a decent percentage of those annoyed by this don't even pay for it and watch by dodgy means.

What's up with some of you :D

Thought it was a bit 'off' really that they had Evra and Keane in the studio and Neville co-commentating. Doesn't make the punditry in the least bit objective if there's no represntation from the other side, particularly when they are at home.

It was highly unprofessional of Sky.

Why should I cancel my subscription and not watch my team because Sky think it’s reasonable to have 3 pundits, all ex-players of one team?
It doesn’t matter that it’s Spurs, it would be wrong whomever United were playing.

I actually enjoy watching (most) of the analysis so do not appreciate all 3 ‘experts’ viewing it from one side. The whole half time discussion was about United’s poor defending, not one mention of how dangerous we were on the break.

And don’t get me started on Keane saying we’ve been weak for 20 years pre-game and how United we’re strong favourites. Totally partisan.

Broadcasters have to be impartial. Sky took the piss massively last night.
