What's your favourite pub to go to before a match and what sort of atmosphere is it?

B&H because it is easier to get served. Don't care about the atmosphere in the pub.

Easy to get served?

I've been converted to the 703 club.

£10 a year membership, £2.30 for a pint, no waiting 20 minutes to get served, sky sports shown.

Easier to get served. The Pricklayers and the Bill Nick was a nightmare. The shed in the car park of the B&H is handy and the queue moves quickly.

Yeah, it's the shed in the B&H which makes it. Is it still £2 a tin?

Prematch B&H post match Bill Nich was always our preference. Although the Bill Nich on the hot days with the BBQ going in the beer garden is always a winner.

I generally go to the Brick layers

One time in there my cousin and his friend came over from Rome and they loved the atmosphere (it was a midweek game against wigan in the cup so people were already pissed and going crazy before the match)

I remember his friend who barely speaks English standing outside with the SPurs fans singing the we all dream of a team of Robbie KEane's with them for over 20mins, he had the time of his life

Used to be the Coach & Horses or the Gilpins Bell, back in the days when I lived in Enfield Highway and could afford to go.

Pubs here are generally shite for matches, even more so when Liverpool or United are on because all their fans seep out of the woodwork in their replica shirts and stand and block up the bar when they're not getting served and generally get on like a pack of dicks.

Heading to Lavery's for this one, I daresay there might be 5 Spurs fans max in it, heading with a bluenose mate. I think I will need alcohol, Goodison makes me nervous.

I think you may have the wrong end of the stick on this thread Paolo.

On the occassions I've been able to go, I've been to the Bricklayers a few times and the B&H a few times. Enjoyed them both - the atmosphere in the brickies was mental the last time I went there...but it was Spurs vs Arsenal so that's not really a surprise!

Another time I took another of my cousins friends from Rome to the Bricklayers (after we beat Birmingham 2-1 with Lennon's last min strike) and he was wearing a hat with an Arsenal badge on it, about six people wanted to string him up

(the badge was from a pre season tournament he went to watch that Lazio were involved in and the hat had badges of all clubs involved.....arsenal being on of the opposition)
