So surprising as he didn't look such a twat at Sporting, but immediately reveal his true colors as if to tell everyone he's here to piss everyone off.
Same with Ceballos at Arsenal, he looks like such a scrote but I didn't have that impression at all before he joined Arsenal (and I do actually like a few of their players).

Lol, maguire is a horrible defender, just threw Jorginho to the floor. No var check, I’m shocked

Not a good day at the office for Maguire - first he rearranges Bailly's network with that fucking massive face, then he plonks one in his own net.

Go home, put the kettle on, have a smoke and write this one off, Harry, old chap. Not one for the scrap books.

The amount of cups Arsenal have won in the last 10 years is alarming. One can be ruled out as luck but the amount they have won compared to us is ridiculous. Especially when you compare squads. Feels like it really is a mentality thing surrounding the clubs. It’s not like we haven’t been in a position to win any either.
It's quite simply because they treat it the way it should be tret. Once they get into the quarters they focus on it and the recent memories of being their and winning help.

I imagine in the club they are constantly reminded about how important it is whether it's from people in and around the club or the images plastered all over the club. They just get it.

Whereas over the last decade or more our main purpose has been to become part of the elite and ensure we are competing in CL year after year, therefore the subliminal message is "FA Cup is not priority".

Then of course we had Poch saying it's not our main goal.

Hopefully Jose treats it seriously.

Lampard's done a good job at Chelsea. With Ziyech and Werner they'll be competing for the league next season.

He's a very good defender but for 80m he has a lot of weak aspects his game.

They are still far too inconsistent when one expected them to win some games they should be winning. I hope that continues to bug them next season.

I do sometimes wonder if the pressure gets to them. Once you have a few under your belt I guess the pressure is relatively less than if you are known for your lack of trophy’s.

Yeah there's probably that too.

The United semi final we got in front yet managed it terribly.

The Chelsea game was not helped by Poch picking Son at LWB and then we probably played a bit too vulnerable too.

So a mixture of reasons I guess. But if anyone can change the mental aspect and game management of it, it's Jose.

80m should be more than just very good. He's so overrated and I'm always happy for United to spent such stupid money and still not winning anything.
It's funny cause now they are saying they need a partner for him yet the biggest reason you sign a hugely expensive defender is because you expect him to be the one to improve everyone around them, ala VVD.

The only thing worse than Lampard winning a major trophy in his second year of management at Chelsea, is Arteta picking up an FA Cup seven months into his first ever job with Arsenal...?

You only need to look at today for proof of game mgmt. 3 up there was no need to break our bollox going for more. Sat in and conserved energy and had a few counter attacks in the second half after 3 games in 7 days it made perfect sense.
