Is he not going for the double? Peak United / Chelsea went for everything every season

I think putting the youth team out against Everton suggests that he's not taking it as seriously as he might, they've got away with it so far though.

If they get through, I'm not convinced he will play a strong team against Chelsea, but I guess we'll see.

The fans by and large don't give a shit about anything but the league. They'd rather beat the Invincibles 49 game run and go the season unbeaten than win the FA Cup or even the CL now they're so close after 30 years.

Klopp's PR game here is all about the fans, and cultivating the cult of Klopp.

If I was a Liverpool fan I'd be annoyed at passing up an excellent opportunity to win the double.

But I'm just fucking glad I'm not a Liverpool fan, and so are my friends and family.

Fans of every other club in the country would think the same

Them lot are different though. Absolute cockwombles. ‘I don’t care if we never win FA Cup again lad’ Just grade A divs who all think the world revolves around them. Fuck em

Klopp has said the first team are on winter break as they were told when the break was announced that they had to respect it, so he allowed players to book flights away etc. before the first Shrewsbury tie had been played.

Though the kids did beat Everton 1-0 so they might have a good chance anyway.

The most disrespectful part of it is him saying he won't be in the dugout IMO.

Should get a two game touch line ban for not turning up himself and the club should get fined

What a surprise, VAR rules out legit Shrewsbury goal.

Annoyingly though this basically gives Chelsea a bye into the next round and will let them rest a lot of their players

Edit = this was before VAR disallowed their goal

It's this surely? Scorer is offside in the buildup

Oxford come back from 2-0 down against Newcastle and equalise in the ninety-fourth minute to take the game to extra time. 'mazing scenes!
