we dont have the squad to rotate though, we has 2 goalkeepers on the bench and Moura the only attacking option. And when Sanchez is your go to backup defender, that shows the squad for what it is.
Well we have Danjuma who is much better player than Moura certainly as a left winger.

Yes - we currently don't have the squad to rotate, but we had before and I'm sure rigorous pre-season, lack of rotation and subs then before most of these players got injured played big part in that. Skipp went from 5 PL games in a row he didn't even play a minute to playing 539 minutes from possible 540 lol

Maybe the fucking morons in charge should have brought on another midfielder to help solidify us?? Maybe bring in a midfielder in Sarr who can actually cover some ground. Instead brings on an attacking player who has possibly the worst holdup play I've seen of any attacking player at Spurs in 10 years.

And guess what... he loses the ball & makes a rash challenge to get sent off. They score 1 minute later.
This, I mean it's so obvious it's unreal yet everyone wants prove they were right whichever side of the argument they were on. We needed control, once again for the upteenth time this season we'd lost control in midfield so on comes Moura. The stubbornness to the system is admirable but totally flawed

Irrelevant to the Conte thread though isn't it? Although I agree the subs were wrong.

Poster I replied to asked how Conte was proved right. And all I said was they don't like to play under pressure. Which is true regardless of the set up of the team.

We all could see what way the game was going even if he brought a midfielder on.

I‘m not buying that. Son had another half arse game and we were seriously out run in the midfield. In that situation Sarr and Danjuma got zero minutes, but cart horses Sanchez and Moura did, that’s not a squad lacking that is just absolute poor game management.

As was said every 2nd post in his thread after Poch was unceremoniously dumped, he's gone, get over it.

Yep. People looking for any small loophole to blame him. Despite the fact they didnt want to give him credit when he was away from the team unwell.

Miguel Delaney saying Chelsea are going for Conte 😳
I’d fucking love it, please Chelsea….

He’d go and spend and other £300m and still play shit football and fall out with everybody and walk in a years time.

He might only last 6 months with Boely in charge 🤞🏻

He would probably do well there with no European football then struggle when they get back to Europe. Same as last time.

Following on from the son video I posted in his thread. I just saw this on COYS. Fuck me, Conte held us back.

From what I've heard, when the history of AC's time at THFC comes to be written, Spurs fans will be saddened by the depth of the poor man management, inflexibility, petulance, and inability to take input from others, exhibited during the 2022-23 season by such a highly experienced and highly successful manager. It's a situation which made no one happy; not the players, not the fans, not DL, and not AC himself.

Some may have defended AC almost to the death, preferring to imply that DL was the root cause of AC's failures this season, but I don't believe that narrative to be accurate. This season, DL had the ability to have done a bit better; AC had the ability to have done so much better.

With no context there's nothing to be made of this. We know it didn't go well. We know there is split blame.

It's over move on.

How many people disagree with Conte now? Totally justified imho and I wish we could bring him back till the end of the year. Levy basically told the players they can do what they want when he backed them over Conte.

It’s not that they don’t want to hear it — of course it’s true — it’s the complete hand washing he did with it.

And it’s worked perfectly. Whenever we’re particularly shit, we have to sit through a bunch of “Conte was right” posts that just negate the fact his poor management has just added to it.

The players are a bunch of Muppets and he knew it. You play a back four with them and they do this.

Spot on. Held the players and owners to account and got sacked for it.

If im a player who doesn’t fancy the new manager I’d simply down tools knowing he’ll be gone within a month.
