The players are a bunch of Muppets and he knew it. You play a back four with them and they do this.

I don’t disagree with that, but his management and coaching this year have been appalling. And that’s why his comments felt like self-preservation to me, especially with no intention of committing to the club.

But he was the wrong appointment and only one man is responsible for that.

He was a dodgy penalty off going 3rd.

One month later and we look like we won't get into the Europa League.

Conte had this bag of shite performing as a sum greater than its parts.

Conte had a significant contribution to what is going on now.
This hiding has been on the cards from match week 1 this season. It’s a miracle we made it this far without getting this kind of beating. We’ve been shite all season, this isn’t a sudden down turn because we sacked Conte.

Bag of shite? How come all off them are good before and after their time at Spurs? Worse than Bournemouth, Everton and Southampton? Having 3 crap managers in a row might have played a role.

We were terrible under Conte; we are worse under Stellini. Results were never going to be sustainable as other teams caught up with games in hand; let's not revise this season.

Are Arsenal worse than Everton and Southampton? They drew with them too.

Do you honestly look at our squad and think "there's a good team here".

They're shite. They've been shite under 4 different managers.

Poch won something after them.

Jose won something before and after them.

Conte won something before them and will probably win something with his next club.

Maybe all these managers actually knew what they were doing and the squad is shite?

As I've been saying since back in December, I'm happy for Conte to go if we have a solid plan of action in place. A way to move forward and make the necessary changes for us to build on. If not there is really no point, because he's gone in the Summer regardless.

Well here we are, a month in looking for a manager DOF banned and the team is even worse than when he was here.

It's not a revision if it's a statement of fact.

We were one dodgy pen off going 3rd.

We do not look like we will qualify for any European competition.

That is the opposite of revisionism.

How many people disagree with Conte now? Totally justified imho and I wish we could bring him back till the end of the year. Levy basically told the players they can do what they want when he backed them over Conte.
Conte was right! It's totally players fault - shame it was mainly goalkeeper he decided to give a new contract and two wingbacks that he bought

He was probably watching this, tucking into a lovely meal, nice and relaxed with a glass of 🍷after a decent pay off saying "there you go, I told you so, everything I said was spot on...."

This is why Levy bugs me so much this season. Signed Conte knowing he needs full backing but did a half-fuck job in signing players. Sacked Conte knowing a clear strategy is needed the days after but did another half-fuck job by retaining the coaching staff with no direction.

The issue is because Conte was not committed it meant that it was harder to back him

I dont know if he was offered a contract or rejected it but he didn't help himself because he wasnt saying it from a position where everyone knew he was 'all in'

He was saying it as a parting shot.

The next coach appointed needa to come in on at least a 3 year contract and the squad need to know he's the boss and hes in it for the long haul.

ANYONE who creates issues is out the door. No questions

Conte is part of the problem we are dealing with. He had a bad spell in life and that spilled over into what was already A less than ideal situation. No matter what type of system we currently are playing in, the players still look confused. They play as if they are shell shocked for part of each and every game and wake up to play decent soccer for a small part of the game. The mentality of the players did not turn out to be a good mentality to match with antonio at this point in antonio's life.

He may well have been correct but that outburst represented a total lack of professionalism.

He should have seen it out till the summer and his departure along with Levy’s terrible decision to put his assistant in charge has royally fckd the whole place up.

Whether it's irrelevant or not, it doesn't make him any less correct.
I’d be very surprised if you could find someone who disagreed with what Conte was saying. He was obviously spot on. The issue was his motivation for saying it. He wasn’t saying it because he cared about Tottenham. He was saying it to save face.
