Never go after the fans.
Especially when you don't play on the front foot football.
You will always come off worse and lose any support you have
Ah yes so patient we boo passes, players and half time scores. He keeps telling us the players aren't good enough, something many on here and social media constantly like to bring up themselves. Our oh so patient fanbase writes off players after one game or a sub appearance. Yeah we're not as patient as you think. What a cock. We’ve been the most patient fanbase in the league. He won’t even commit to a longer contract. Just as well serving up the shit we’ve had to watch this season.
He’s had 3 windows and time and we’ve got far worse than end of last season.Ah yes so patient we boo passes, players and half time scores. Maybe he could say it better, but he isn't necessarily wrong with what he is saying. He said from day one it would take multiple windows and time.
He should go in my mind, but these comments aren't something to get upset over.
Great post hear hearHe's trying to get sacked now.
I'm trying not to get offended as this is a man who is not well, tired and is clearly getting an angle to go home but...
I'm sick of them all. The fans haven't done anything wrong at all. We have moaners and some people sign unhelpful songs. Every fanbase has that. What we also have is packed houses with ticket prices that his precious Serie A could only dream of charging, we have the best away support or one of in the country and we have a fanbase who has watched the most un-entertaining football in the countries top entertainment venue and has lumped it so this "winner" can bring us trophies.
Except he's miles off, can't beat lower league teams , can't win a champions league knock out tie and is fracturing his squad quick time but I suppose that's our fault too.
Just bore off with this bollocks. You want patience? How about you commit, how about you admit fault , how about you learn how to coach more than a game a week
If he wants to leave now then do it. He already has more money than most of us could ever dream of. We don't deserve this and if you think we do then have a look at yourself because I for one won't let pricks like this belittle us and make us think we can't possibly ask him to do his job.
No manager should ever come out and publicly say the players aren’t good enough though.Ah yes so patient we boo passes, players and half time scores. Klopp never made excuses either (other than the weather) or criticised the fans. He knew he needed their patience so delivered positive messages. His football helped as you said.Compare to first 18 months of Klopp at Liverpool, from match 1 against us they pressed the life out of us and it was clear what Klopps plan was, it was exciting and they just kept getting let down by Karius and Lovern etc making mistakes but there were plenty of shoots of encouragement outside of that in terms of patterns of play, chances created etc and Klopp was on a longer term deal and he spoke positively and passionately about building Liverpool up.
Then they got Allison & Van Dijk and the rest is history.
We under Conte don’t have the same situation at all for so many reasons (Conte won’t commit longer term, he speaks about us negatively and as if he’s above the job, the football is dire, we go entire games not looking like scoring, Plan A is often predictable and toothless and there is no Plan B, subs are too cautious and defensive, players look bored and demotivated and confused and aren’t improving…etc etc! )
So for him to call us as fans out as being impatient with him is bang out of order and either he’s deluded or wants the sack or both.
I too when entering a new high profile and pressure job would play down expectations and set myself up for a lot of time to achieve anything in case I don'tAh yes so patient we boo passes, players and half time scores. See, I don't actually want Levy or ENIC to sell the club because they've done a lot of good for us.But you see the point in chanting against Levy who is not going to sell the club, or suddenly run it completely differently - regardless of the chants?
I’m not fussed by the Poch chants one way or another (definitely against anything that may turn supporters on each other if that’s the case though)
But I’d be fully in support for any Conte Out chants though. He and Levy need to know what the fans think, and want - because this is something Levy can change.
But the fans were patient? Pretty sure even in last month they have been singings his chants etc. He's been here for 3 windows, tomorrow will be his 75th game at Spurs.Ah yes so patient we boo passes, players and half time scores. I agree. I hated Jose’s football but as a person I actually quite liked him. I can’t say the same for dear old Antonio.I know many hated Jose because of his ego and narcissistic tendencies. But I do not remember him consistently speaking about the club as if it was a rental car. Yes, he can be grating. But I never felt like he perceived us as a charity case.
The majority of fans have wanted Daniel to stay the hell away from all football related matters and leave it to Paratici to hire and fire..... when Levy does this suddenly he has gone awol. We seriously need to make up our minds as a fan base as to the role we want Daniel Levy to play.I’m not interested in what he’s said in the press conference - as others have pointed out he’s now interested in one thing, and one thing only: self-preservation. He is hoping for the sack, but will absolutely not quit before the end of his lucrative contract. He has a right to do that - no comment on the morality of that from me
The depressing situation we now find ourselves in - a rudderless ship with a manager who couldn’t make it more obvious that he doesn’t want to be here - is entirely on Levy. He needs to take ownership of this situation. He’s already missed the obvious opportunity to do that. To borrow a Peep Show-ism, ‘daddy’s hat’ well and truly fell off in the summer of 2021 during the cataclysmic and baffling managerial search. The aforementioned hat is still AWOL. Levy has been maddeningly frustrating at times, over the years. But I’d argue it’s only since 2021 that he’s made decisions that are obviously completely wrong. I also have zero faith in Paratici making good strategic decisions, and I’m concerned that he holds too much sway with Levy and the club.
I’m one person, I don’t represent the fanbase. I always thought the Paratici hire was a mistake. I don’t think he’s the right man for the job, and I never did.The majority of fans have wanted Daniel to stay the hell away from all football related matters and leave it to Paratici to hire and fire..... when Levy does this suddenly he has gone awol.
