This football is not sustainable as we need 3 goals a game to win a match . We give opposition teams at least 4 clear chances a game . We seem to get bullied against all opposition . It’s not eye catching high tempo football we’re watching , it’s suicidal football imo.

Six goals conceded in three PL games.

No side can afford that amount of goals being conceded. Once we have the options of Sarr and Bissouma i think that will drop off.

I thought as a whole the back four played well, Vic will only get better and at the end of the day a point away against any team with three key players missing is a good point.

That is the problem, we are great at attack, but crap in defence, if you in trouble in defence, just boot it up field, not play perfect football to play out of trouble, so many times this has caused us problems, love Ange, but unless he sorts out our defence, we will never win anything.

We couldn't hold on to the ball when pressured.

We aren’t anywhere near as fluid as we were early part of the season. I know we lost a lot of players through injury, some of whom are still finding full fitness and form but even so. I guess we are missing Son’s pace and movement too but we just aren’t quite clicking and I’m not sure why…

“Suicidal” is a massive overstretch. Within the context of the top 3 teams we concede a lot. But outside of the top 3, we don’t stand out as conceding a lot of goals.

We’ve conceded 35 in 23 matches.

For context:

West Ham have conceded 33 in 22.
Newcastle have conceded 33 in 22 (now 34 in 23)
Brighton have conceded 37 in 22.

Because it’s a massive overstretch. Our defensive record is as good as virtually anyone else in the league outside of Liverpool, Man C and Arsenal. And up to a couple of weeks ago we were relying on Emerson and Davies to play CB.

Very disappointed, not so much with the performance but for letting them back in when we should be able to see the game out with a few minutes left. We seem to have been practicing coughing up possession because we were really good at it today.

The point being none of West Ham, Newcastle or Brighton are in contention.

Genuinely how are you supposed to provide anything when your midfield can't hold the ball for longer than two seconds

Bringing on Dragusin, has resulted in every match us sitting deep trying to absorb the pressure and every time the team has had a clear chance to score a goal. This is the first time we have conceded a goal from it
Gil doesn’t work with the fullbacks at all. It compresses us on that side which results in an unbalanced midfield

We've conceded 5 more goals than Everton and only 4 less than Luton.

We are on course to concede 55+ goals

That is not good by any stretch of imagination

By my math, we last played Wednesday, they last played Tuesday. That one day less rest I believe is when mental errors are made in the end. Well done premier league.

That free kick given away by kulusevski should be a weeks wages. Literally the only way they could score

we also ended the game with Gil, Skipp, Sarr, Kulusevski. more than enough legs to see this through
