Just been watching the Spurs love-in on Match of the Day. Trying not to cream myself with excitement. Pochettino when asked whether we could with the title - "yeah, why not?". Eriksen - "we go in to every game believing we can win it". Someone pinch me...

Martin Tyler sounded genuinely gutted and despondent at the end of that game, like he’d just found out his train home was now in fact a rail replacement bus. Love it

Not even world class really. There arent any other players who come close really so they're Galaxy class lol.
The likes of Ronaldo, Messi, Maradona, Pele etc they are freaks. Probably aliens lol. Off world class.

Good match for my boy to see his first Spurs away match, living in Hong Kong makes it a bit difficult, we were in the Gwladys end surrounded by the Evertonians, all good natured. Plenty left when we scored our 4th, loads left when we scored the 5th, Son got roundly applauded by the bluenoses when he went off and as for our 6th, well, lots of “what a goal” etc. COYS

Poch asked for faith in mid week. Winning 6-2 away at Everton after going 1-0 down will certainly help make some true believers amongst us.

Merry Christmas ya filthy animals!
Same to you, you dirty stopout! :D

i dont know if I remember correctly but how many passes did we string together for the 6th goal? I'm sure it was something that had me gushing about that goal?
18.

good match for the neutrals. I like the fact that Everton didn't follow Burnley and park the bus and slow the game.

they actually came at us.

Coin toss of a match, personally, i felt Everton could have gotten at least 4 goals in the game. If you take away the mistake for our first, and the rebound off the post to Kane... the result could have been different.

Everton did so well in the first half, pressed us hard. won the ball high up. kinda disappointed we didn't see the danger and avoided our 2 goals against. but... glad we got the 3 points.

Literally couldn't agree more with this, if you took away some of our goals, and added some goals for them, the result WOULD have been different... So, so true.

That game works both ways you know. Everton could have had 4, but by that measure we could have had 12.
You can’t look at the chances they missed and discount our own, Kane could have had a hat trick before Son equalised. Trippier could have had a couple, had Pickford not made the save and the ball been an inch more to the left from the freekick. In fact, let’s take this to the enth degree here, by your measure, Kane should really be the first player to score a double hat trick in the Prem.

The reality is that it’s just a bit ridiculous suggesting that we were fortunate because “they could’ve,” when “we could’ve” as well. It’s also ridiculous as you have no idea how the game would have panned out had they scored more.

We won a game we dominated. We tore them apart on a regular basis, Christ, even the pundits were saying we looked like we’d score every time we attacked.
And I don’t hold with this tosh that we “caught Everton on a bad day” either. It seems that everyone has a bad day when we turn up, so what’s the common denominator here?

We have played much better and lost. just glad we got the 3points. first time we came from behind to win this season iirc. we haven't been doing well after going a goal down recently.

not sure if posted previously but saw a fascinating subtlety on kane's first goal. Son is standing in front of the ball facing Trip as takes it. as the kick starts, Son pulls out toward the right wing to an empty spot on the pitch. the defender on the left side of the wall (side where son ran to) reacted instinctively and separated from the wall about a foot and a half. it appears as if Trip's take goes between the wall and the defender who was supposed to be in the wall negating the effect of the one player whose positioning was supposed to cover the outside of the near post. the smallest things make the biggest difference.

it's at the 7:25 mark

i'm not sure they score that unless Son makes that run.

We bring bad days?

No wonder no-one likes us.

Its Digne I think, he's told by Pickford to join the wall really late which he does, then Son makes the run and I think its Richarlison who tells Digne to follow Son.
He takes one step out of the wall and leaves the gap for Trippier.

People are criticising Lamela after we’ve won 6-2 away from home? WTF

What does the scoreline matter if the criticism is legitimate? He had a great assist but did some pretty frustrating things too. Are people only allowed to write that if we had lost? I don't get it.
