It does make a difference to us though. If you pay them off, the player has the opportunity to get paid for the upcoming season by us and then get paid again when they join a new club. We also miss out on the chance to get a transfer fee for them. So it's win win for the player but we have nothing to gain from it.Still doesn't make a difference to us if they go and get paid elsewhere. It's still pointless to be paying a player who isn't registered.
If you drop them from the squad and keep paying them as usual then the players will only get paid once for the season and when they come to find another club, it's doubtful they'll find one easily as they wouldn't have played for a whole season. So it gives the player a reason to find another club before that happens and they drift off into obscurity.
