The sooner Joe Lewis fucks off, the better.

He has single-handedly ruined our club.

He spends more on paintings than football players.

Couldn't fork out £14 million for the Dybala image rights yet can spend billions on a yacht.

I mean, he can spend his money on what he likes. I personally could only hate him if he was a hypocrite and came in saying he was gonna be a sugar daddy and never did. But ENIC were always perfectly clear what they were or are. And the club was dire when they bought it, let's not pretend otherwise. Sugar let the rot sink in and we were light-years behind the rest of the powerful clubs in the league.

This will probably sound like the Mother of all understatements because I don’t like completely castigating ENIC but it feels like we are a million miles from the optimism and feeling of a ship that was being run tightly when Poch had been in charge a season or so.

With the way football is going we are in danger of this being true again. We don’t even appear to be getting the benefits of having one of the best academies in the world when other clubs continue to roll out decent young talent season in season out.

In terms of spending. We are light years behind the clubs around us in terms of refreshing the team. When we do spend big, generally it’s wasted.

I think they have achieved all that can be achieved under their model and it's been fantastic stability wise but footballing wise, like on the pitch wise we're hurtling back to where we came from and being dragged into the also-rans in the league. We're not looking like a 'top six' outfit at the moment.

Thanks for all the good things you have done, you've done plenty but now is the time to hand it over (hopefully) who wants on field success - the frame work off the field is there.

That 14m free that would need to be paid for his rights is bullshit from The Sun - it wasn't about money.

And what's ENIC fault for this game? Dybala would stop Sheffield scoring two goals from six-yard box?

What is Enics fault is the failure to invest significantly in an ageing squad over the past 3 years.

you either want to win things or you don't. it's as simple as that joe/enic/levy.

enough is enough, either invest where needed or fuck off. we're so toxic we're stinking the league out.

Remember how good the last season in the old stadium was?! Never felt better about Spurs than that season.

Ever since then ENIC have fucked it. They used up all our goodwill during the stadium delays and bullshit communication.

Then they didn’t strengthen when we were actaully decent and let us go two windows without a signing.

I’ve never really spoken against them until today so this isn’t a knee jerk reaction. It just seems we’re so far away from even being on par with where we were a couple of years ago before we even think about bettering it.

It felt like a tight ship - DL and Poch working well together. It’s sad to say but it seems like on the face of it that DL is distracted these days.

I don't know why we still have this thread. Sure it's a great place to rant and moan about how shit ENIC are (and they are, let's be honest), but they'll stay shit and still in the ownership of the club regardless of how much noise we make wishing them to fuck off. Personally, I don't see the football value in our new stadium, as it was done merely to add value to the club as a business. Anyway, rant over enjoy your evening ladies and gents.

Privately I reckon Levy is shitting himself. Perfect storm brewing. Debts. No CL or EL. Unhappy squad.

relax lads we've been assured that we are a top club now and baldy will not stand for anything less than challenging for titles.
he will fire Poch imminently, hire a winner like Maureen and all will be fine. Heard that some of our top players will leave if Poch stays so all will be ok. In Danny we trust - custodian of our club.

Good thing the FFP rules have been relaxed so the billionaire owners can help out their clubs during times like this. Too bad our billionaire owner is more interested in getting his next yacht built and securing that next art piece.

Is anyone realistically going to buy us now? For starters how much would ENIC demand? I bet it would be somewhere between 1-2 billion. That’s a lot of money to spend on a club who still need an addition 150-200m spent on players to return it to even competing with the other top four clubs.
If I was a rich person I’d be looking at it saying that you can no longer purchase a big club and guarantee spending your way to the title when you have 2 teams that already have billionaire owners and 2 other teams that are so historically big that they can generate the income without the need for oil millions.
Then add in teams like Everton who have owners that are willing to invest and your better off buying a Newcastle for £300m and spending another £300m on new players to get it to the same level we are at. Saving circa £1-£1.5billion.

I honestly can not see us being sold and I think ENIC see us as a reliable cash source
