Yeah I phrased poorly: first time we’ve won knockout games in three consecutive tournaments. I’ve had remarkably little sleep.

I think the stat was that this was the first time we've won knockout games at three consecutive tournaments, rather than three consecutive knockout games.

I can only think back to back tournaments? So winning a knockout game in each tournament

We have done world cup' in 2002 and 2006, 86 and 90, and 62, 66 and 70.

Throw in the euros and it's just 66, 68 and 70

Seems to be a real problem in England, same has happened to two Swedish players. Olsen (Swedish GK) and his family got threatened by machete and Lindelof’s wife and children had to lock themselves in the bathroom when a burglar was taking place. They now have a 24/7 guard service around the house.
