Lots of rumours swirling about that Capello will be the new Inter manager.

If he goes I'd say it'd be a British manager this time.

Would the FA consider Harry?

They'd ask Woy first as he has experience as an international manager and managed to take the Swiss to USA '94.

But I don't think Capello will leave.

Harry's Inland Revenue issues may rule him out of this one. Woy would seem to be the obvious one as previously mentioned.

Harry and the FA is a bit like Brian Clough and the FA. Perfect fit but they just won't consider him.

I'm sure Woy is probably the best of the English bunch. I like Stuart Pearce but i'd doubt they promote him that quickly. I don't think he had a brilliant recrd at Shitty but I think he is doing alright with the U21s

I think they'd go for another foreign fancy name again. I'd have said maybe Mourinho if hadn't just signed for Inter. Or maybe Hiddink but he's due to join Turkey.

Yeah Hodgson and probably better for Spurs that Harry stays on, right? that's if this situation develops

It'll be Hodgson. He wont upset the apple cart, unlike a lot of people at the FA, lol. For that reason, Harry will miss out, at least this time. If, god willing, we won a title or something in Europe, then things could change but I think Harry's situation with England is like Capello's with Italy - they kind of know they have no chance of ever getting the job due to politics.

If Capello stays on until the Euros, I'm not sure Hodgson will be such a strong contender, although I think he would be ideal - getting the best out of a load of tosh. No more Lampards or Terrys, just good honest pros.

Either Hodgson or harry if they went for an Englishman, no other contenders. The FA are pussyhole's of the biggest magnitude though, fucked of tel for outside footie reasons when he was the best manager since Robson. FA = ****s

No doubt harry would jump at the chance but with his trial still hanging over him I don't think the fa would consider him. As people said above it will be roy if cappello goes.

Quite a few sports writers have commented that the FA would never offer Harry the England job, too many skeletons in the closet.

Capello is a brilliant manager, but I would be delighted with Hodgson.

If you're going for an English manager then Woy. If you're going for a manager who knows the English game then offer it to Fergie.

Of course the press love this shit... Less than a fortnight before the World Cup and there's loads circulating that the manager's going to piss off afterwards...

Harry Redknapp or Roy Hodgson for me. I hate the fact that as a nation we have a foreign manager, I can accept it in club football but surely in international terms it should be from the players to the manager, It's all about who is the best afterall.

More media crap which will upset the apple cart around our world cup chances. Do the newspapers just love seeing us fail at everything?!
