Having been somewhat responsible for breaking someone's leg during a game, I find these sort of videos difficult to watch.

Shattered the right tibia in 2014. Had to have it re-broken last year and placed in a cage. Yes it hurt like a bitch.

It's called an ilizarov frame (as I'm sure you know)

I spent nearly 18 months in one myself and that was back in 2002.......still suffering to this day

Hopefully Ba can play again one day.

I had the Taylor spatial frame on as the lower half of my Tib/fib was rotated out by 40degrees. Had to adjust it over a period of 29 days to re-straighten it. They aren't much fun are they mate.

If you're talking about a game of football then those are the risks everyone takes. If you're talking about something like a game of chess or monopoly though, you're just a violent bastard. :stop:

Yeah, it was during a football match...
Went in for a genuine 50/50 challenge, but I went in slightly more committed than the other guy.
It ended his playing career I believe, and pretty much put the nail in the coffin for my own.
I was already considering calling it quits as I was player/manager and was having to put up with shit from some of the players.
Think I played for about another month after that and walked away from the game completely.

Hate seeing things like this, haven't watched the vid but the pic was bad enough. Feel for the guy, although at least he has the millions to pay for the best medical care. It's when it happens on a Sunday league pitch that the real problems arise.

Still think David Busst was the worst, and if there's any leg break worse than that, Godspeed to that guy.
