I know Havertz has only played 2 games for Chelsea but the pundits are already asking the question of why have Chelsea signed him because he doesn’t fit into their system. Havertz is a quality player but he’s similar to Alli in that they’re both luxury players and don’t fit into a 433.
The obvious problem with Alli is that his stock has dropped and his laid back attitude doesn’t fly when he isn’t producing the goods. If someone offers £50m? for him then I would sell him in a heartbeat.
The club is in a very precarious position with Alli in that if they loan him and he continues his form of the last 2 years his stock will be at an all time low. Obviously if it’s a loan only and he does well his stock will rise. I just think given he’s actually so out of form, doesn’t fit into Jose’s tactics, anything in the £50m region and we should sell. The odds of his stock dropping even further are much better than him turning it around.
I don't know where he would fit in? As a second striker in a Simeone setup maybe. His style is difficult to accomodate.
