Concerts at the New Stadium

I saw PJ at the MK Bowl about 10 years ago. Its still the best gig/concert I've ever been to. And that's why I don't want to see them again, and certainly not in a huge sports stadium. That evening was utterly perfect, and I'll not have that memory superseded.

I can boast I was on the stage with Edward 11 back in the mid 80's. They played regularly at Spilsby Theatre back then. I had got to know them quite well and went back stage with my then young daughter so she could meet them. Great gigs from them every time. Always majority of same songs but who cared, they were a good tight fit outfit.

Sorry to bump this thread, but am after a bit of advice.
My son has booked me and him tickets to go to the P!nk concert at the Tottenham Stadium next month, but of couse it is up t me to organise everything lol.
I live not far from Northampton and was wondering the best way to get to the satdium, but more importantly best way to get back. The concert is on a Saturday, and i am guessing the trains back will have stopped by the time i could get to one after the concert. Am also up for driving but obv that would rule out having a drink and a longish drive back late at night (unless there are any decent hotels anywhwere near).
Just thought it was worth an ask, as i am not that savvy regarding transport links in and around the stadium and what the best option would be.
Any help would be really appreciated and thanks in advance

Sounds like you'd be better off trying to get a hotel if it's not a massive budget stretcher. There's the premier inn Edmonton or Premier Inn Tottenham Hale that are both about 30 mins walk away from the stadium. You generally know what you're getting with a premier inn but you'd want to check availability sooner rather than later.

What about looking a bit further afield? Getting back to Northampton might not be feasible but transport in London itself runs late.

Have you tried the Travelodge on the A10, near Theobald's Grove station?

Only 10-15 mins to White Hart Lane on the Overground from there, and very close to the M25 for the journey home the next day.

Thanks for that, will certainly take a look. Just been looking at coaches to and from the stadium via the spurs site. May be better than driving and spending on a hotel

If your tickets are for the Saturday, there's trains to Northampton from London until just after midnight which should be fine? Sunday you're scarpered by engineering works.

If you choose to drive and not stay overnight you also have parking to take into account , there is no street parking anywhere near the stadium it's all CPZ but there are various off street private parking places at around £20/25 near the stadium , some are around Brantwood Road industrial estates.

I was out last night, and it took me an age to get home. The pains of being a local resident. Usually, it is fine-ish, but the overground is suspended on the weekends until mid-July, so the poor transport is even more obvious.

I was so pissed, my inner nimby was begging to be released

At this point, it definitely feels like there is an event or two every weekend, but then we will have European games next season as well, so it will only get busier.

The club brings a lot of business to the area, which is a good thing, but they need to somehow force the issue of transport. I don't think it's sustainable in the long term because it's already on the edge. We need more capacity in the area.

Also, a bit of a sidetrack, so due to the diversion, I had to make my way home from the opposite end, so from Edmonton to Tottenham, and I had to walk down Fore Street (I FUCKING HATE THIS STREET), and the level of prostitution was insane. There was a woman on every available corner.

I heard elsewhere that there was so many wimmin there (obv) that there wasn't enough Ladyloos for them

One of the toilet areas was out of water so lots of ladies using the gents instead
