Pretty damn sure Haringey council isn't going to reject a sell out concert by Beyonce and I'm pretty damn sure the club knows that.

Probably just posturing so the NIMBYs around the stadium don't complain. The council probably doesn't give a shit but have to appease the locals.

I have no time for the NIMBYs when it comes to housing etc. But in fairness to the locals our events must be genuinely extremely annoying. We all know the state of local transport and roads on matchdays, how busy places to eat or drink get etc. And lots of them would've moved to the area when we only played 20 home games a year with half the current crowds and no extra events

Bit of advice. One of my sons boss wants tickets for him/family for Pink - God knows why but he has kids!

There is an advance sale for ST holders. Can I buy tickets for this if I have 5 ST's that I can use? 1 per ticket?

If I buy them for them, are the electronic like football tickets and can I transfer them, or are the paper?

Haven't been to a gig at the stadium so don't know how this works.

Cheers in advance.

Another one announced, more beer money rolling in..

That's more for my sort of generation and say what you want about the naming rights and whatnot but that will bring even more fame to our name stateside.
I know a lot of yanks who love Pearl Jam but have probably never heard of Tottenham Hotspur.

I laughed at that...and I'm too old to know what "merked" means!
You're never too old to get Merked :sneaky:

I'm sure there are websites that deal specifically in "taking care" of your elders :D

Just don't look for them without a Tor or VPN...

One of my favorite bands.

Fun tidbit (and some mild bragging): My son has shared a stage with Mike McCready while playing ALIVE. This was at the Crocadile in Seattle. (Those who know anything about the Seattle grunge scene will know that The Crocodile was a major venue when the likes of PJ, Nirvana, Screaming Trees, Alice in Chains, Presidents, Soundgarden and Mudhoney were all in their infancy).

My son was 17 at the time. It was part of a House Band gig for School of Rock, and the theme was... Grunge. And it just so happened that the chap who runs the Seattle school of rock is mates with Mike. Suffice to say, most of the older fathers lost their collective minds when he was chatting with all the kids before the gig, and then played on a couple of songs.

No idea how my son didn't piss his pants having to play with a legend like that... but then again, that's why he's at Berklee School of Music... he's a badass musician, engineer and producer.
