We ain't going to get any world class talent, because we cant afford them.. We are then having to shop elsewhere where the prices are cheaper, but so are the risks.

Lamela and Soldado would have been Wenger's 3rd and 4th biggest signings ever and Liverpool's 2nd and 3rd biggest signings ever

Hard to call KP Boateng a failure, or Bentley or Bent. KP did very well at AC Milan, and BEnt & Bentley were considered good buys by many

Prince Bong certainly failed for us, but that's beside the point. Neither he nor Bentinho were players we actually needed, and the money could have been far better spent on ones that we did. It's also questionable that we needed Bentley, certainly at the price we ended up paying.

I am just reading a book called the nowhere men on football scouts there is a chapter about comolli and scout called Mel Johnson who was working for spurs and got the sack when Harry came. He followed Comolli to Liverpool scouted Sterling for them in a game in Tim Sherwoods back garden.

Great read that is.

He's probably right. Dude is a **** but I'm not going to defend our board who have been absolutely disgraceful the past few transfer windows. Top 20 richest clubs in the world yet Swansea and Everton are outspending us.

Burnley have out net spent us over the past 5 years.

Pretty sure this is actually true....

There was a "story" in the Mail 2 weeks ago about how Levy & Co. were looking to "revamp" the scouting of the club, one of the other rags mentioned that we were looking to get more people that could put "eyes on" the players we were targeting. The papers made it sound like we were using spreadsheets and data analysis as the only way to identify players. I though the story was probably a situation where there was a shred of truth wrapped in a candy coating of bullshit.....and it looks like that is the case.

We really may have horrible scouting and it sounds like we may actually be trying to address it but how long will it take to actually kick in?

IF true, Baldini has been in post for 18 months?

What on earth does he do if he doesn't appoint a scouting team?

And how much have they spent? What's their wage bill?

We finance player signings from player sales. That way we don't add to our £55m debt. 65% of our turnover goes on wages. How much higher a percentage would you like us to spend? 128%, like QPR?

Have you ever run a business in your life?

No because he's a self serving ****, who undermined Jol, was instrumental in hiring Ramos, and signed such gems as Bentley, Bent, Dos Santos, Pavluchenko, Gilberto etc etc... and then claims to have discovered Bale when he was already pulling up trees at Southampton. And then goes and blows the best part of £100m on shite at Liverpool. And then he has the temerity to come have another pop at us when he's just as shit?

That's why he can fuck off.

He's still telling it as it is though, ain't he. We are a fuckin laughing stock, the 'special' relationship with Real?!! Fuck me!! We've taken it up the arse from them with no lube!!! And don't mention the wads we got for Bale, you know the saying, 'a fool and his money are soon parted' and Levy is now that fool!!
