I was on the fence. I thought this season was our fergie one where he's backed long term, I thought we would be that club...ibr hated what I've seen from the terraces though.

Hope the timing means we have someone lined up and they can be backed in Jan

I literally cannot handle all these feels.

I’ve just come from receiving my first-born in my arms, and 15 minutes later I get a text saying Poch has been sacked.

So many different feelings all at the same time...

I cannot at this time articulate anything more than, it is a fact that the seasons under Poch have been the far most enjoyable in my 20 years as a Spurs fan, and by God, I hope my newborn son grows up with a Tottenham to be proud of.
Congratulations to you and yours. ?

For those worrying what our players would think of Mourinho coming in, I'd imagine those in football probably have a LOT of respect for him.

We're talking about someone who has managed 5 big (in most cases huge) teams, and won major trophies at every single one. That doesn't happen by mistake.

He's not likeable, but you have to respect him. If he takes over he comes in with the reputation of a winner. The biggest winner our football club has seen in decades.

Do we want to be winners?

Don't turn on each other people! That's exactly what Sky Sports/Matt Law/Unai Emery/Tim Sherwood/Bale's agent want!

I’m baffled at some of you thinking Jose is beneath us.

That is exactly the thinking that makes other fans right when they say our fans are delusional

I don’t think people think he’s beneath us. Clearly he’s a proven winner. He’s an utter Cnut though who plays horrible cynical football, that’s why I don’t want him.

I'm going to go against the grain and predict Jose will be amazing for us in the short term
2 good years and raises our profile, both good and bad, a little bit more as a club would be a return I'd snap your arm off for tbh. Doubtful it lasts much longer than that.

after his first stint at Chelsea I would have sold my soul to have him as our manager, not giving a monkeys about boring/exciting football.

after 11 years without a trophy i would do anything to win some silverware. The question is whether the Mourinho of 2007/8 is the one we'd be getting or a busted flush. I really don't know the answer to that.
