I think we have acted in haste. Player power has won and I'm afraid Levy bottled it with the rebuild. Levy has taken the cheapest option another business move. I can bet my last dollar Arsenal and the rest of the top 4 are loving we sacked the best manager in most of our life time.

Levy has to play by ENIC's rules and remits, my feelings for levy now is also maybe he done all he can, fresh start all around, we have punched aove our weight during Pochs time, its fact and as much as i hate to say it but in todays Footy world only money brings success in the major leagues on a CONSISTENT basis, to compete we need need to be on par, for example could PEP and Klopp bring the success without major spending and this includes WAGES too

mourinho would be a terrible pick for us. hes a cynical and negative manager who stirs up a shitshow whetever he goes.

its all about Jose

Yeah the thing is if Jose does make us succeed it will be all about him. We signed our deal with the devil and now we have to live with it. I’m not saying I won’t enjoy it if we do well underneath him but it will always feel tainted.

that team in his first spell at chelsea actually played some very good football....Drogba, Robben, Duff, Lampard, Cole etc

Really not my recollection of events.
Some good individual goals from all of them but not ‘good’ football that I recall, not as a pattern of play.

Levy and Enic our they are a disgrace they have failed to back the greatest post war manager we have had. In the words of Keith Berkinshaw there used to be a football club here.

Deserves immense respect. Without him we would have limped into our new stadium with Etienne Capoue and Nacer Chadli in the team against some Europa League rubbish. Instead we opened with a Son Heung Mon goal against Man City in the UCL quarter final

I really don't know how I feel. I always thought Poch was a great man manager but tactically inept. Mourinho is a great tactician but I hate the football he plays. I guess Dier will be happy. It feels like a beloved family pet has died but it had been in pain for some time :(.

we all love Poch

maybe he will come back one day - but today, now - he is exhausted and needs a break and new surrounding.

I say it now - he will come back one day imo.

Can't believe people don't want Jose. The game is about glory and all that.....

The full quote doesn't support your view...

“The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It is nothing of the kind. The game is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom.”
