why not. He can work where he wants. Would be the biggest two fingers anyone has ever shown to Levy.

Correct me if i'm wrong, you would find it hilarious if the man we loved for the last five years went off to manage our detested rivals ?

Fuck Levy, fuck revenge on him, you as a Spurs fan would find that amusing.......i give up :banghead:

So many different type of fans on social media and forums like SC,so maybe i should take what you said with a pinch of salt...but i am astonished.

Ex Sunderland skipper Micky Gray apparently told pals at an ex pros charity match that Teddy Sheringham said that Poch should join the scum because of the way we treated him, as some sort of revenge.it was reported in the media today.
I was Poch's no.1 fan and agree he's sacking was harsh , but if its true and Teddy suggested that, then he can go fuck himself ,pathetic comment coming from someone who claims to be Spurs.....i don't see why Gray would throw Sheringham under the bus if it wasn't said.

Most of the scums ex players seem to be so loyal to woolwich , ours not so much, could be the way Levy treats them?
Anyhow , i didn't expect that from Teddy who once said he hated woolwich, again i hope its not true and fake news...

Teddy is and has always seemed pro Teddy at the end of the day. And I remember when he joined West Ham he was very much this is my club.

I agree though that a lot of ex Spurs seem a bit bitter for various reasons.

The thought of Poch managing Arsenal makes me feel sick.

O

stupid comment

Let me get this right. We sacked Poch. No mutual consent softly softly. Sacked.

if he wants to rock up at arsenal, why not.Levy has shown him no loyalty, more than 60 pc of this board wanted him out.

who’s been sacked and gone to work for a direct competitor? Lots I reckon. Sacked. Not poached.

Erm. Half of this board wanted him axed. I love Poch - but fuck it. If I were him and I was seriously pissed off, yeah. I’d do it.

Arsenal are an absolute mess from top to bottom.

No way Poch goes there considering he’ll most likely have offers from Utd, Bayern, Dortmund etc.

If Poch has any sense he will take the rest of this season as a sabbatical (on Levy's money) and travel (Spain, Argentina etc.), spend time with his family, recharge his batteries and get hi passion for football back. Then, next summer, he will be a serious candidate for the major jobs that may open up (Man U, Bayern, Real Madrid, PSG).

No, allowing relegation form for almost a year without pulling the trigger is loyalty....maybe you're new, because that's not Levy's style.
Poch was given the opportunity to resign, but he refused to.

Unlike some on here , Poch has morals, and i trust him foolishly or otherwise that he wouldn't do that, he has said in the past that he wouldn't.
Nothing to do with the scum being in a mess, Poch is not like the Steve Bruces of this world who managed Villa/birmingham...sunderland/newcastle....an utter prick.

As I understood it Poch was offered the whole mutual consent thing but thought it would make him look weak and reduce the severance pay for him and his backroom staff. Levy did not just summon him and pull the trigger out of the blue - the two spent the international break discussing it.

maybe I’m new? Oh seriously really? How long you have been on a forum has direct correlation to how valid an opinion is.

oh yeah. In that year you mention. We got to the CL final.

To be fair, you can hardly blame him for that.

We lost that final (and played badly). In the middle of a run of 25 points from 24 league games. I cannot think of any club with top 4 ambitions in major league that would ignore a run like that without changing manager.
