Why do your boys have a relatively small stadium, @Syn_13?

A few reasons. Atmosphere being one. They modelled it on English style stadiums where the fans are close to the pitch. Also, attendance in Italy has been poor for the last few years so they didn't want a massive empty bowl. This way the club can guarantee it packs out every single game. I believe there's an option to expand by 5k if we want to.

As exciting as their comeback against PSG was, there is no doubt in my mind that the ref absolutely shafted PSG. Barcelona deserve to be out, and I don't say that as someone who dislikes them.

I disagree, PSG got their tactics wrong. You defend deep and narrow allowing the opposition more oportunities to get into your box then you invite trouble in the form of deflections, fouls and indeed refereeing errors.

I don't like the type of tactics PSG resorted to. And I whooped with excited during those last 10 or 15 minutes. Still think some of the decisions were scandalous. You could have seen Mascherano's trip on Di Maria from outer space.

Justifies my selling of Alli for Dybala in Fifa 17 a week ago. Been weighing heavily on my conscience...

Sick of this shit. Fuck all this terror crap. This simply has to stop. Hope this Dortmund one ends in a CL trophy for them. Would be a nice, fitting, fuck you to the attackers.

...and it would make my wallet alittle fatter after going big on them at 10/1:cautious:

So police treating it as attempted murder, that's crazy. Were the explosives inside the coach already? I'm so confused.

Juve and Torino used to share the stadio della Alpi - built for the 1990 World Cup - but they hated it, it was too big, always half empty (near 70,000 capacity I think) running track etc shit atmosphere - so Juve built their own and Torino got the smaller redeveloped one on the site.

I know its very very unlikely as Juve are much better at defending, but i'm still having a cheeky fiver (If the odds are good enough) on Barca to go through.

Regarding the Dortmund explosion, two letters apparently left in different locations.
One suggests it's related to German involvement in bombing Syria etc. and mentions Berlin incident.
The other claims that it's an anti-facist group, claiming it was in response to the clubs soft approach to neo-Nazi and racist fans.
I would imagine if it was Islamic Fundamentalist etc. then the devices would have been much more direct, rather than putting them in a bush in the hope it does major damage.

Not quite, Juve's current ground is on the old Della Alpi site. Torino moved to the Olimpico, where Juve also played while the current stadium was being built.

Ahh, I stand corrected, you're right, I always get the whole Juve stadium thing confused.
One thing I didn't know before I looked it up now was that Torino and Juve shared the Olimpico (then called the Comunale) for over 30 years before the Della Alpi move. Hell of a lot of ground-switching going on in that city.
