Do you guys think it's possible we won't play with a traditional #9 next year? If we go 4-3-3 maybe the three forwards interchange positions as the game evolves? We have the personnel for that type of system now with Bale/Chadli/Siggy/Dempsey/Adebayor/Townsend.

I'm pretty excited about Chadli. I don't see how you go wrong with a big, strong player who is good with the ball at his feet.

Love these relative unknown signings. Could be a hit, could be a miss, but it will fun finding out.

What's promising is he scores and creates. Hopefully a nice mix of Moroccan flair and Belgium consistency.

morocco setting the football world alight these days then?

Yeah hopefully he has some wit and guile about him too, as that's what we lack.

Scoring in the champions league. Not sure who it's against, but I heard it's one of the biggest clubs on the planet

Same height and similar build to Chrissie Waddle. If he's half as good, has a trick in him, then we're onto a winner here.

Welcome to Spurs, Chad's.

Been saying for quite sometime i doubt very much we will be in for a striker, could be wrong tho, think AVB will stick with Ade and Defoe at least till January TW, we shall see!

This is probably the type of signing the Aston Villa, Evertons and Swanseas of the league would make with a chance that the player blow up during the season resulting in 20m sums being banded about. I'd be even more happy if we balanced the books and sold Dempsey, really don't need him now.

Not really seen a lot of Chadi but having just watched the obligatory you tube compilations he looks good player and looks like he has an eye for goal. Also the relatively low fee makes it a low risk transfer.

I see Chadli being played on the left so AVB can keep Bale in the roaming central role or behind the striker. Either way tho it seems a good signing considering his versatility playing forward positions. And his goal scoring record is decent too.

WELCOME TO SPURS CHADLI!!!!

Can't remember seeing him play but his youtube video shows some exquisite finishing.

Good to see that they are addressing the weak areas in the squad.

I'm sure all the focus will be on a striker now. :cautious:

Bale seems to be playing on the right of a 433 in the pre-season games. I think we'll line up like my sig.
