Keep fighting young man. You can pull through.

Just on the player visit, I have no idea what things are like in England but in Australia, sports players visit hospitals nearly every day. I know football players over there may need more security than our sports people so it may be more difficult.

However I would nearly guarantee the club would do something if they found out.

No idea how I can help here in Oz but let me and everyone know if a collection is set up.

Gary Mabbutt may be the man to contact initially. I'm sure he and some of the other players would do a hospital visit and arrange for a special match day when Callum is better and able to go out.

If someone wants to PM me a letter to pass on, I am happy to put it in Mabbsy's letter box.

That's fantastic news. Still got all my digits crossed for him but great to hear he's off ventilation. Big step.

Edit: And gigantic hug for mum and the rest of the family. I get wound up in knots if one of mine has a bad sniffle. Stuff of nightmares this.

Great news!! I know it must be difficult for you too MBY but thanks for the updates.

If someone can get a donation site set up, I'm willing to put something in too as I think Callum and his mum will need a nice little break away after this hard journey.

Thanks again mate, keep strong, stay positive and Callum will live off that (y)

Mrs Boyd, I can't imagine what its like for a parent to see their wee soldier laid up in hospital like this, I just hope that you know all the good wishes extend to you and your family too. Your strength is admirable and thanks MBK for keeping us twitterless folk itk.

Just to echo everyone else's thoughts and say we are all made up for the positive news on Callum and hope that he continues his fantastic progress and to say well done for all of Callums family in the strength they have shown in the face of extreme adversity! I am open to making a donation to a callum fund so he has a opportunity to see Spurs, So if anyone can set up a page where we could donate, I am sure we could raise a hefty lump for the young man. COYC & COYS.

Also well done to everyone who have given words of positive encouragement, Both on here and Twitter (y)

Hi guys, I am just in the process of setting up a donations site/mechanism. I am discussing with Archie of the best way forward. There are donation sites out there but the ones I have found so far take a 5% chunk of any donation. If anyone has any ideas I will gladly set one up.
