it is less stressful being a spurs fan now than under Poch, now at least i do not go in with high expectations. i was betting on 7th this season, so we might still get Europe :p

At this point it may be for the best if we drop to 10th, show the reality major change needed on and off the pitch, club has been run no where good enough ironically since the stadium which we were told was the game changer. The thing I want least for this season is to win just enough to get in that useless fucking conference league again and keep enough numpties happy so nothing ever changes with this loser mentality club.
Worked for Chelsea!

A few weeks ago both clubs had several games in hand over their respective rivals in the table. Burnley have done very well, unlike us, who’ve only taken 3 points from a potential 15 points in our last 5 games.

Very disappointing results, to say the least.

We were the better team 2nd half until they sucker punched us. If Romero didn't let Mee get over him we come away with a respectable point. Kane went awol the last 20 mins.

The over reaction is pathetic, as usual.
If Rodriguez used his left foot its 2-0.

We deserved nothing from tonight.

Lot of anger here, and I’m not feeling it. I was so pissed off after the Southampton and Wolves games with how we played but this want like that, for me. Or maybe I just went into it with lower expectations. Didn’t feel we deserved to lose.
Over the top reactions from the same clowns in here. Frustration I suppose.

I just feel so frustrated with timid players like Sess, Emerson, Winks and sometimes Davies. Even Son is guilty of such.

But mainly these defensive players are so safe and reserved. No forward or risky pass, playing it so safe but invited pressure nonetheless. The lack of intelligence is appalling in Emerson especially.

I don't know how Sess will ever be confident. Playing like a kid everytime after so long. There's a reason he can never make it to the senior international team. He plays like a junior.

Winks so disappointingly pathetic after the windows closed. Always the same old same old. Is he a fucking defensive player or what. Why is he sitting so deep and stagnant. I always have a feeling Hojbjerg has no idea how to move with him alongside. With Bentacur, only 3 games and they got the understanding sorted. Winks forever leave his partner stranded.

Just fucking sell Winks, Emerson and Sess. So done seeing them play.

I agree with nearly everything you say here apart from Davies. He tries to get forward and help attacks a lot of the time. He makes dummy runs, provides passing options and aside from being a little hesitant after taking his first touch is usually a good player. The wingbacks though, well they need to be sent packing. I've got some patience for Royal as I think he is defensively sound, but Sessegnon is not ready for Premier League football.

Horses for courses!!! We should have pressed them higher up the field. The last 3 losses showed the recipe to nullify us is becoming widespread amongst other teams.

Leeds away at the weekend aint any easier

Debatable. They’re in absolute freefall at the moment and I see them going down. Bielsa’s time looks to be up, they’re missing big players, and they don’t have a game plan other than the usual gung-ho.

And they’ve conceded 10 goals in 2 games.

Course, Spurs…

It's more apparent that we have more of those nights lately, I mean our last two home games against Southampton & Wolves, & the Chelsea game before that show that those games are more the norm now.
The so called lesser teams are raising so much of a performance against us now and playing the best of their lives is almost like a redeeming factor of their whole career from every single one of the clubs. Yet, some of our players are never motivated to raise their levels in such games. Piss off.

Not surprised by the result. Predicted 0-0 as I couldn’t make myself predict a defeat but I expected it just as I expected us to beat Man City

Hate is a strong word but I am personally very uncomfortable with the amount of dislike I have for the number of players and figures at the club that I have. Hopefully summer is a new dawn but it’s fucking hard slog at the moment.
If someone offered me a pill that would make me forget Tottenham and football in general exists I would bite their hand off. Huge waste of time.

Shockingly inept and cowardly performances from Emerson and Sessegnon. They don’t cross, they don’t even think about attacking their opposing fullbacks, they barely ever receive the ball while moving, and 9 times out of 10 they’ll look to give the ball straight back to whoever passed it to them. Sessegnon did this four times in a row. Straight back to Davies; no attempt to move into the space Son was creating. Conte simply must change the system.
