So Bayern are losing to Wolfsburg 0-1 when the first half ends. Second half begins and Lewandowski comes on, from minute 51 to 60, he scores a whopping 5(!) goals, the last one a beauty of a scissor kick

Haven't caught up with the game yet, but Bayern thrashed Dortmund yesterday. Was expecting a close game. 8 games in, 7 points clear already.

To be fair I don't think anyone expected Dortmund to challenge anyway, but, if you consider that Wolfsburg were the ones who were supposed to challenge then it's an even bigger gap (n)

Be serious, mate.

In all seriousness, Holtby has been excellent this campaign. His turnaround from last season seems almost proportionate with the turnaround of the club's fortunes in general this season, and despite Lasogga already scoring two more goals than he did all of last season, Holtby has easily been the single largest individual contributor to Hamburg currently being 7th in the table (should really even be higher, as that Hannover loss at home is still a stinging thorn in the side).

Well he was a very good player for Schalke - when he played well the team played well and generally won. The players were keen for him to come back too but the club didn't seem to be willing to pay the cash, possibly because they'd be making a loss on a player they didn't want to go in the first place.

Morning all.

Massive game for Stuttgart this weekend. Is it too early to be saying 'make or break'? I have no confidence we'll get a result but with Zorniger gone at least there is some vague hope....
