If we go for embolo it will probably be from money from the sales of fazio, townsend, carroll etc... or through staggared payments.

But the transfer window is over a month off. So will wait till it's open before starting to get my hopes up.

That's a sad state of affairs if true... Levy really is squeezing the club dry to build the stadium - and the value of his shares...
Or you could look outside your bubble and realize the luck we've had so far.

These stadiums cost hundreds of millions and don't fund themselves.

Look at Arsenal. They didn't have to just cut spending to fund theirs, they actively had to sell their best players to fund it. We've only sold our best when they force themselves out. In fact we've recently been doing the opposite and have been giving around a bunch of wage increases and contract extensions to our best.

I'd have him ahead of Berahino all day long. Would push Harry very hard but I'd ideally see them rotating and getting game time/ off the bench time most games. Dream signing.

Anyone that thinks he's going cheap is kidding themselves.

Everyone is talking about this kid.

If we were gonna fork out 25mill for Berahino we certainly have the cash, I guess its just a matter of how we value him against what they want for him.

He certainly fits the bill as a Levy target.

Looks a good player and it's a plus that he's chosen to play for Switzerland. No African Cup of Nations call-ups to worry about.

I'm in Zurich right now and a guy I'm working with is football crazy and supports FC Luzern. He reckons Embolo will end up at the very top, and if we don't buy him now he''ll be snapped up by a bigger club. If I'm honest I've never seen him play so no idea if this bloke is talking shite or knows his football.

I live in switzerland too and can say that embolo is top class, he has all the attributes to be a top striker in the future

Ship has sailed on this one.

Sadly I'm inclined to agree - lots of noise on the lad. We're an attractive team to join I'd imagine but my guess is he'll go to a CL club at the end of the season. That's what I'd assume his advisors are telling him anyway. No need to move mid-season

Hope I'm wrong, think he'd be perfect for us by the look of it
