This is the squad announced today about 90mins ago:

Goalies: Julio Cesar, Gomes, Doni
Defense: Maicon, Dani Alves, Lucio, Juan, Luisao, Thiago Silva, Michel Bastos, Gilberto
Midfield: Kaka, Gilberto Silva, Felipe Melo, Elano, Ramires, Kleberson, Julio Baptista, Josue
Forward: Luis Fabiano, Robinho, Nilmar, Grafite

Surprises: No Ronaldinho, No Pato, No Adriano, No Ganso, No Neymar!!

Biggest surprise for us Spurs fans: Gilberto :eek:mg: Yes, the same one who had such a disastrous time with us and who the majority on here stated was complete sh1t. Well, there you go....

Amazing that a player like Pato can't make the world cup squad.

No Pato and Ronaldinho is pretty crazy. Can't believe Kleberson, Josue and Baptisa are in there ahead of them.

No Sandro either, not surprised but would have been good to see him play

It's probably the most workman like Brazil squad I've seen. Ronaldinho has had a very good season despite Milan's poor form. I'm also shocked that Nilmar, Grafite, and Robinho are there before Pato but I guess Dunga has his favourites. He's said from a while back that Dinho wouldn't make it.

Is fairly as expected for Dunga, he's frozen out Ronaldinho from the squad and Pato has done little to show he's worth taking along this season.

As for Ganso and Neymar - they are both kids with no experience - they never had a chance.

And Adriano still likes his partied and his ladies, so again no real surprise.

They will be defensively weak down their left hand side though, which is where any team looking to pin them back should go for.

Are Ganso and Neymar as good as the press are making out?
