He plays so well for France
But higher up the pitch
He plays in the middle three with Pogba and Matuidi. He goes deep and typically picks the ball up off the CBs or around midfield. He isn't in the front three

But as has been noted before we struggle with teams who use a similar pressing game to ours.
Today for example then leverkusen, liverpool, and i remember the spammers fucking us up doing the same at their place last year.
Whilst our unbeaten run is fantastic and morale boosting etc we tend to dominate most of the opposition with the ball, but in reality create very little threat in their goalmouth which teams now look to be noticing.
Yeah but it's the fact that it could be better though isn't it. Just because ones doing well doesn't excuse tepid performances
That's true but if say, we had tried long shots at a very suspect goalie (in Boruc), we might have got an early goal which might have forced Howe into a change of gameplay. Our attacking players, today, seemed bereft of ideas.
Kane likes to try shots from distance but not many of the others do.
Anyway we can't change today's result but I hope Poch has learnt from our last few games and has devised a few different plans to apply against opponents that use different tactics.
Are you serious we have dropped 4 points against sides we should really be putting away see liverpool tonight for evidence of that.
We have much to be proud of with our good young team but we should not overlook that we are impotent up top which other teams also know.
Movement, invention and pace. 3 things we lack in attack.
Literally one player would make a massive difference for us.
We are better than Liverpool in 7/8 positions though. Lloris, the defence, Wanyama, Dembele and Kane would all start in a combined XI
Lallana, Mane, Coutinho/Firmino make a real difference though
9 games in, 1 point off top and undefeated, and people are bitching.............you couldn't make it up
The unbeaten thing is a bit of a nonsense really. The aim of the game is to score goals and win, not remain unbeaten. 1 win and 1 loss gains you more than 2 draws so I know what id prefer. Forget being unbeaten, we are dropping points, that's the bottom line.
Just watching L/pool v WBA. Pool on another level to us. They look they will score with every attack, unlike us.
1. Liverpool are at home
2. Yes I'm serious, our best start to the season for a really long time.
3. It was pretty much the same team who tore Man City a new one, so hardly impotent in that match!?
Yeah. Bit more advanced nonetheless - the fact that he plays with Pogba probably helpsHe plays in the middle three with Pogba and Matuidi. He goes deep and typically picks the ball up off the CBs or around midfield. He isn't in the front three

I think it is a genuine concearn that we are not putting our opportunities away.
In general we are actually playing well without looking really potent.
I think if we had scored first we would have won simply because we seem to be able to defend a game out.
Certainly poch has a bit of a problem in trying to get this team scoring a bit freely and winning more than we draw, Im concerned that we might not be able to break the scum down and i can see spammers getting a draw against us too.

But what does being at home matter We had 72% of the Ball against WBA away so should have won it.
The last couple of games CL included we have been impotent scored 1 goal in 3, still we are on the march regardless but need to finish teams off period.
