I don´t think we will break down Leicester at WHL when we can´t even break down WBA or Bournemouth. A draw.
Lose at Emirates and Stamford. West Ham possibly a win, or a draw.

Last 4 league games against Arsenal record: W1 D3 L0. Last 2 away games both draws. Both league games last season against Chelsea were draws, including at Bridge.

We've started this season better than last - no reason we can't get draws there and even play for more in both those games. Chelsea have been up and down this season. Tricky Arse game.

We should beat Leicester but I agree it will likely be a draw. If we don't beat West Ham at home I'll begin to ask questions, looks like a must win right now and they've been poor

Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela are not even 50% of the players they are when Kane is absent. His importance to us is ridiculous.

Keeping an unbeaten momentum is critical.
Hmm not if that means we are happy to and we keep drawing. Does it prevent us going all out for the wins? A point is nothin. Anyway, no drama, can't believe I've read posts saying we are out of title chance now and playing catch up. Amusing

At this point last year we were 7th, on 14 points.

We have been hit with injuries to Lloris, Rose, Toby, Dembele, Dier and Kane this season, and yet we have 19 points. It would have been great to get 3 points today, and a draw is disappointing - but lets not turn this into a deep decent into how we are now some kind of mid-table squad. We are still a contender for the title, and certainly top-4. There is a lot of season ahead of us, and we have quite a bit to be positive about.

I said based on current form, on paper we should be getting lots of points from these games but let's try and take away our bias from this, Leicester have been shocking in the league so far but against us they will be wanting to prove a point as we were their "main contenders" last season and let's not forget, we struggled against them twice last season.

Arsenal are playing extremely well at the moment, in a derby anything can happen but if we play like we have done today then I think a draw is the best we can get, don't forget we couldn't even put them away when they had 10 men last season and Kane was bang in form and Arsenal were in shocking form at the time.

Then West Ham, which I think we can win but the result could go either way as we are their "cup final" and then Chelsea, same could be said for them, look how they stepped it up against us last season despite being shit otherwise.

So whilst you might believe I need to "See someone" I believe that I am trying to be as realistic as possible, I cannot see us getting a win other than possibly West Ham from those fixtures, especially when we have CL squeezed inbetween and given how we are completely lacking in front of goal at the moment.

If Harry comes back and hits the ground running my opinion might change but right now that's how I see it.

Of course I could be completely wrong, this is football after all.

We might not win all those games due to our poor attacking form at present but our defence is the best in the league so I don't see us losing them either

As disappointing today and last week were, it's October. October.

We have the best keeper, defence and midfield pairing in the division, and when fit and on form, possibly the best striker too. We are so close

If we had Ozil and Coutinho, we would win the league, I have no doubt of that.
Instead we have a collection of decent-good options in these areas who play depending on form.
If all are off form then we struggle like eff.

And if we combined the money wasted on Sissoko and Janssen we probably could have.

Nobody is saying we are out of the title race but people are rightly saying that it's days like today you often look back on at the end of the season and see as huge missed opportunities, it might not seem like a massive deal but ultimately every single win counts in this league, especially when it is so tight at the top.

How dare you come in here and upset the match thread with a post of common sense and reasoning. Get out

@Bobbins, I don't see what's funny? Or are you laughing in agreement that we drew 4 games last season and have drawn 4 in 9 this season?

Predicitng the future is a mugs game, but I'm prepared to be that mug and say we'll go on to draw more than 4 games this season...

If that was detrimental to our challenge last year, I think the same will be apparent this time, too.

I find it amusing that you've already decided on where we'll finish (or won't finish) and that you think we could be winning the league anyway.

Another chance to go top blown. If only we had someone like Chadli to bring on instead of an inferior player that cost twice as much as we sold him for.

I don't think Chadli would of been a good sub today either. Too frantic a game for him to be effective.

Howe set up well. He stopped our wing backs by congesting us there. His team ceded possession in midfield to concentrate on protecting the final third. They also didn't give away silly free kicks around the box. That said, the referee gave us nothing.

It is impressive I agree but that doesn't mean it is perfect, it gives us a very good chance of not losing but if we aren't scoring it will only take one goal or one mistake for a team to defeat us and we are going to be coming up against teams that are better going forward.

We don't pay the wages that elite level attacking players command.

If Kane wasn't at Spurs and wasn't a Spurs fan, we'd stand no chance of being able to attract him.

We were very poor. Bournemouth had plenty of chances and on balance deserved to win. We didn't create any notable chances in the entire 90 minutes, we never looked like scoring.

The same Lamela who hit the bar and was closest out of all our players to scoring.

No strength? Are you kidding me, the amount of times, especially second half he held on to the ball under pressure was a big positive from his play today, compare that to Son, Alli and Eriksen.

Has no vision? He is one of, if not our most creative player in the final third.

His pace. How many times did Alli carry the ball, get caught by the defender and lose possession. Eriksen didn't beat anyone for pace today.

But yes you make some really valid points.

If, as you say, Lamela is one of our most creative players just proves why we are struggling to create or score many goals eh...
