Massive defender of Jose, still think the man deserves time and backing.

That choice of team leaves a lot to be desired though.

Wonder if Jan's in because Sanchez has played so poorly he's fallen down the pecking order or if he's being rested for Sunday...

Better balance in that team.

With Lamela, Lo Celso, Kane and Bergwijn there's more craft.

Better approach than Son, Lucas and Bergwijn.

At least if we need Son and Lucas can come on and stretch the defence

I wonder what the shape will be? Lo Celso on the left of a 3 with Lamela on the right perhaps?

Such an uninspiring line up. I think Lucas and Son on the bench is fair enough, but the rest is rather boring and shows how less Jose trusts the rest of the squad.
Never a break for Kane or the full backs plus the super uninspiring CM2 of Winks and Sissoko, where i still struggle to see that they are better than average....

Nothing to suggest any different approach to any other games, which means probably another display of very little to be desired of our forward play.

I really like a front 3 of Lamela, Bergwijn and Kane but bet anything it'll be the brothers of waste again on Sunday.

I can't see the virtue in having old man Jan instead of Sanchez against Wilson.

Son and Moura benched for Bergwijn and Lamela is a better step but proof will be in the pudding as to our attitude and application out there.

At least Sess gets a place on the bench this time. Doubt he’ll come in though.

I do like the look of that front three. But annoyingly means that Lucas / Son are guaranteed to start against Arsenal. Should really be resting Davies/Sissoko/Lo Celso (and Kane) - would have LOVED to have seen Ndombele and Cirkin rotated in.

If Mourinho isn't bothering to start Ndombele against Bournemouth there's no point in him staying here. Such quality - but it's redundant if he's not allowed to get up to speed and show it on the pitch. Just an expensive asset sat on the bench. Depressing.

was looking forward to the game, but to see that line up ..... urghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh winks Sissoko, how many more times will see that, Lamela, will probably justify why he is kept on the bench each week

Bournemouth only starting with 1 recognised CB. Has Lloyd Kelly been covering there recently?

Yeah - with Lo Celso, Lamela and Bergwijn in the team we should have more composure and intelligence in possession. Hopefully Bergwijn can match Son's goal threat, though (not that he's been scoring much recently anyway).
