Think my favourite might be that Bale v West Ham one.

If I remember it correctly a WH player had shithoused Bale just beforehand. He picked himself up, recieved the next pass and planted it in the top corner.

Also makes me wonder why we don't score more from distance these days!

Bet these guys slot them in every day in training for fun but there always seems to be that tentative last pass in a game (or miscued corner flag shot!).

I’m sure there should have been a few more Bale goals. I know they didn’t mean much in the end like champions league qualification but they were special

I always remember Bales goal vs Man City think it was 2011/12 season to bring us back to 2-2. What was a massive game at the time and we went 2-0 down and within moments we were back at 2-2 from a piece of magic only Gareth could’ve hit. We ended up losing to a Balotelli penalty after he should’ve been sent off the c***. I really miss Gareth, so many special goals in big games. The amazing thing is it wasn’t even one of his best for us.

Vaguely remember that

Didn't Defoe miss a good chance to take us into the lead, before Balotelli's winner? Also, weren't we in the title hunt that season s well?

If Alli scored a goal for England in the same way he did v Palace it would be spoken about forever !
Moura v Ajax is pure emotion and schoolboy stuff.

Obviously lost my shit when Moura scored, at the time, but now? Means very little. I get a better feeling watching back Kane’s goals against Arsenal ( the header bing my personal fav ) or Chelsea, in games we win. That Moura goal wasn’t the best one he scored that night ( his second was great footwork )

Bale v West Ham or Dele v Palace probably for me. Honourable mentions to Rose, Glyfi and Wanyama! What a strike from Vic

The goal from Bale against West Ham is just incredible. If I remember correctly Sam Allardyce after the match said something like “the boy received it in space and I thought oh no”

That Lucas Moura goal was the most amazing moment. On the BT Sport YouTube page there is an “unfiltered” video of the game and it s just amazing, watching Hoddle go mad and almost pass out, watching all the players go mad, Poch crying and best of all, all the fans going absolutely mental high up in the stands!

I will never forget that goal!

For me the Danny Rose goal lives long in the memory and was a great moment at WHL

The Bale goal at The San Siro was brilliant but being 0-4 at HT we weren’t in the best spirits at that time after a great trip up until then!

That Crouch goal was also a very special moment going to Man City needing to win to qualify for the CL for the first time

Bale goal at San Siro is underrated in the memory. Quality.

Ignoring the significance of goals then it has to be Lamela's for me. Never seen a goal like it. The disbelief that he'd done that and people in the pub still not believing it until the 5th slow mo replay.

I wonder what our crappest goal is? Not counting own goals.

There must be something incredibly tripe out there.

This is a bit cheeky but sterlings offside goal against us in the CL quarter final should be in the list for pure emotion alone.

How can you say that goal means very little? It has to be one of the most meaningful goals ever to be scored by Spurs. I know it sucks that we failed to show up in the CL final, but that doesn't take anything away of how important it was for us to make it there in the first place.

I live in Guatemala, and as recent as two years ago or so people would make a weird face whenever I would tell them I supported spurs (they would think I was crazy for not supporting one of the big teams in the world, or they wouldn't even be aware of Spurs existence), but now it's not unusual for me to see some random person wearing a spurs shirt in the street, or as their team's shirt in their recreational football leagues. A big reason for that was Moura's hat trick, but not the only reason tbh.
