"Your move to Manchester United"......?

What move to Manchester United? Why do these journo's speak as if it's a done deal?

It may well be, but it'd be good for Berbatov to dismiss it out of hand instead of keep telling us how he's happy 'at the moment'. I guess his answer speak volumes.

Half of me wishes he just fucking go there and end this constant shit about it. The other half of me, well, doesn't.

'and i reapeat myself, im a player for tottenham hotspur and im happy there'

The thing is if we are to be the bestwe have to have the best players and to be fair to spurs we currently have 3 world class players in Berbatov, King and Woodgate.

If the team progress as they have in the last 3 months we have nothing to worry about. Ramos is getting that extra 10% out of the players and some may say more. But if we win a cup this year, have a strong finish in the league and get into europe again Berbatov will possibly stay. But that will bump his valvue up even more.

Remember no one bidded for him, so until they do dont worry.

He's a footballer, he hedges his bets. There's a lot of rubbish spoken about loyalty, it's a very rare commodity nowadays. Why should he be loyal to us? He's been here a season and a half. That doesn't earn loyalty, no matter how nice the fans are. I'm sure Leverkusen's fans were great too.

It's like people who said Davids should come back as a coach at Spurs - why on earth would he come back here? Do you realise how insignificant we are in the grand scheme of his career? People need perspective.

If we win a cup, make significant progress in the league and sign a couple more world-class players, he might stay. I expect much less than that and he'll be off at the end of the season. Best to expect the worst, then you're pleasantly surprised sometimes and very rarely upset.

Like most people I'm a big Berbatov fan but when I see the importance of the system and collective mentality that Ramos is installing -- and the progress the TEAM is making -- I'd be less devastated if Berbs were to leave than I have been up to now. He's would be difficult to replace but he's not irreplaceable and I still think we could continue our progress without him --though of course I'd love him to stay.

Berbatov is the man. Keep up the good work, and sign a new long term contract with us. When you do that, you show comitment. It is always nice to hear that he is happy at Tottenham, but he should sign a new deal to show how happy he is. The fans want him here, and he knows it.

"I could never leave Tottenham. I love the SpursCommunity forum too much. Those kids rock. Some of them name themselves after me. There is one called NettyBerba. She is more impressive up front than I am!"

What do you mean they edited that bit out?

No one player is bigger than the club, Ramos is building a new team bit by bit. It's exciting seeing it develop, and I really don't care whether it's with or without Berbatov because I'm sure Ramos is clever enough to have a contingency plan if Dimitar leaves.

Why would it be such a miracle to keep Berbatov?

If we win The Carling Cup and/or Uefa Cup this season, finish in top8 in the league, show a lot of improvement, buy a couple of good players in the summer, I can see him staying with us. I can see him going too, but I really think Ramos could keep him at the club. That's why I really really really really want us to win Chelsea on the 24th. It would give us so much. We would qualify for Europe, win a cup, and it would double our chances of keeping Berbatov.

Having said that, he would be perfect playing alongside either Rooney or Tevez and he must know it too. :-|

I get the feeling with Berba that if we were to accept a bid he'd be happy to go, but if we don't accept a bid, he'd stay and continue to enjoy his football here. Don't think he'd push a for a move, much the same as Carrick really.
