Obviously it is too late to change this up-coming seasons shirt, but i thought it is about time we had 'To dare is to do' written under our almighty cockeral.

Kind of like the 'You'll never walk alone' of liverpool. I think it would be fitting, as it shows the new look spurs, with a high prestige manager and new players.

Gives possibly a slight ambition or mentality perhaps?

What do you think?

It should really be 'Audere est Facere' than 'To Dare is to Do'...

Here is a really poor mock-up that I did, but that is where I would put it if it was to be on the shirt...

audere est facere tho.... TO DARE IS TO DO sounds alot more interesting! I know its the same thing, but its not exactly intimidating!

Imagine a manager going to his players and saying audere est facere.

i think to dare is to do sounds to american and cheesy, audre est facre adds a bit of culture to the club (yeah it translates the same) but i like the badge as it is, maybe have the audre......bit along a collar or something

Not sure our badge works that well with text.

Liverpools badge is more of a sheild/crest, that fits with text in a banner much better.

Much better and worth a rep point imo.

To ever: What language is our motto in? IMO it sounds better in English, as then our fans will be able to pronounce it.:)

I dislike 'to dare is to do' as it sounds like a cheap knock off of the SAS motto. In fact, it sounds like something Del Boy would say.

Exactly, let's go back to Latin, and ditch this cheap marketing ploy.

What % of our fans are able to speak latin? what % of new fans would be able to read latin?

Also, some Latin expert on another spurs forum said that it is a very loose translation to English anyhoo.

Audere-est-facere, that's better choice as To dare is to do came when we started rebranding our image to more sellable all over the world. So just keep at least something old.

I like Audere-est-facere, but have no idea how to say it... Obviously I guess its hard to explain how to pronounce. But when I try to say it its sounds like I'm saying Audrey est Facer. Can anyone explain how to say it in proper english like :)

I did Latin at school, and the teacher explained that most words are pronounced exactly as they are written. So I would pronounce it Owdery Est Fackery.
