In a week where one of our greatest has passed away it's embarrassing and shameful to watch that performance , coupled with this result and the Chelsea one it belies belief.
We have gone backwards at such a rapid rate it's got to the stage that we are now probably a decade behind the top 4, especially under Enic and Levy's stewardship.
If Levy and co are to stay they have got to revamp our scouting team and get back to the days when we signed quality like Dembele, Eriksen and Verts to mention a few.
I agree but the problem we have is there's no one at the club who is setting high standards. No one who is saying "this is unacceptable!".

Leicester, Everton and others are emerging and the PL is becoming a league where more clubs are not accepting poor football or mediocrity. Basically they are getting more ambitious as well as smarter and it's raising competition.

So Levy's attitude of checking to see if the decisions on managers and recruitment make sense financially and not in terms of success are going to hinder the club and eventually really hurt the club.

What was that display today, it was Very bad . Nuno looked like a lost soul. I have to finally admit he may be out of his depth. I’m a big fan but today where was the motivation. There no point scrutinising Tactics , formations, Kane’s attitude or poor defending and poor referring , it was players unmotivated and that’s a problem and down to the coach.
Big fan, based on what exactly?? Please let us in on what you know/see about/in Nuno that we don't.

I don't think choosing against Conte was Paratici's call. That seemed to happen before he was close to being announced.

I think either DL and co realised they'd have to spend too much with him and he'd demand tools to succeed. Or they baulked at his insistence of having 8 coaching staff.

I do agree though. He is the best solution to get this team up there again.
Seems like 8 coaching staff is the minimum we need. Most of the players need 1-2-1 training!

I believe Nuno has to have his "Conte moment" and go for a back 3.
We won't be any better playing 343. We'd end up 523 off the ball and not getting any foothold. And we'll possibly be a bit better in the short term playing 352 but over the longer run we'll be too defensive. Our midfield is the crux of a very deep problem.

Potter on an initial two year deal is the way forward. All those who wanted Nuno ??????
I don’t see Potter being willing to come to us. We are in free fall and soon the rebuilding job will become even harder when we sell Kane (no bad thing now) and have his money to spend but can’t attract players of the calibre needed because we are not in Europe and then we’ll be stuck with that excuse too.

Even if he was remotely interested, it would take a much longer deal to get him to come. Especially given what we’d have to pay in compensation.

They should also give a worst manager of the month award. It would help to reverse the juju from Nuno winning the manager of the month award.

He made a statement about attacking football and our DNA and all that rubbish and then appointed a pragmatic Italian DOF who then appoints a defensive coach as he would if that’s what he believes in
Mixed messages and scattergun thinking at the top is killing this club.
There is no plan ENIC are making it up as they go and always have, sometimes they get lucky most of the time they don’t
So let's get the fans making a statement. Let's start a social media storm #Nuno out or #Levy out. If the idiots backing Extinction Rebellion can bring the M25 to a halt, why can't Tottenham fans bring Tottenham High Road to a standstill the next home game. Answer because those that complain are all pussies. They make out that they want change/success but in reality they don't - all they want to do is spend all their time whingeing about who they would play and who they would appoint as manager based on all of their experience.

Early days in the rebuild - I'm not going for histrionics in September - I'll leave that to the children on here
Because our problems started in August, right?

Not four years ago when we failed to sign a single player for two transfer windows?

No, you're right. It's far too early.

If Brentford can play with passion and a solid plan with a ragtag squad that costs a fraction of ours, why the EFF can't we?
Because Brentford is a well run club, with an owner who’s a genuine fan who has a passion for the team to be a success not to make money. And surrounded by a management team who have a firm strategy and pull in the same direction.

All things we don’t have.

How the fuck do we make seemingly decent players utterly usless? Seriously? How? Wtf do we do at the best training ground in the uk? We literally coach anything decent out of them. It’s utterly bizarre

Lloris -4 could’ve done better with one of the goals but no protection

Tanganga - 3 - rash and poor
Sanchez -3 so nervous all the time
Dier 4 - fairly poor
Regullion - 3 decision making and touches poor

PEH - 3 did nothing
Dele - 2 was he playing?
Ndombele - 1 hate his attitude, move him on

Son 7 - goal and tried hard
Kane 5 - poor but not much service
Lucas 4- usual Lucas performance not doing much

Subs:
Skipp - 7 came on and did well
Gil - 8- great attitude and application

Nuno - 0 - shouldn’t have ever been hired.

It has to be Levi out as he is the cause of everything that happens at Spurs. Every game win lose or draw there should be a Levi Out protest. He has got incredibly rich by taking the piss out of us. Same with Lewis. The only way you might get them to think about things is for everyone to stop going to games and return their season tickets. That will never happen because most supporters have invested a massive amount of time and emotion supporting the team no matter what. Levi/Lewis have use us to generate a massively expensive property portfolio by borrowing against our name and money. They treat us like mugs constantly. They have no desire to win only to make them more money. Lewis couldn’t spend all his money in his lifetime if he was 20. I think he is about 80 now and is still now mugging us of for every penny we spend.
