I agree, unfortunately Nuno is never going to set the team up to be possession based and to attack teams. He is a defensive coach and will always look to create on the counter attack.

I personally wish with this squad he'd revert to a 4-4-2 and play Moura and Gil on the flanks. Lock up the midfield with Skipp and Hojbjerg. Kane in the "Teddy" or "VDV" role and Son up top, playing on the shoulder of the last man.

Relying on Dele for goals is not the solution to any footballing problem.

His through ball to Kane on Wednesday was the first pass of quality we've seen this season. Maybe only Gill is capable of such a pass consistently?

Anyway - just seems to me to be the reason Dele starts. Might be hopeful but there is history there albeit with a midfield that controlled the ball allowing Dele freedom. We dont have that now. Nowhere near it.
