You've missed the whole idea then. He's never gonna compromise on the philosophy. Today's game isn't to be rated by a win or loss and mistakes, but by whether or not the boys stick to the ideas and keep trying to do what they're told. I'd you revert to pragmatism at the first sight of adversity, we'll never progress. This playing out from the back shit is not working here today. I hope Ange tells them to stop
Hopefully you're right and it works in the long term..It will and it's expected. Ange expected that. But he's not going to change with hoofing the balls up everytime. He wants us to improve on this so much that everytime we got out of those situations it will be to our advantage of going into offence. Hoofing the balls up every time will only turn the initiative to opposition. He wants control. And that will be scary if we are becoming well-oiled in this. Trust Ange.
Was just about to post this. He stopped himself with half a syllable remaining. Too late, Les, you testicle.Did Les Ferdinand just call Sarr Cisse?!
Yea I wonder if it’s nerves or a tactical ask because Romero and VDV taking an absolute age on the ball, also probably because of Arsenals pressing and shape giving few passing options not easy to be fair but they grew into it.Romero and a few other are taking too many touches, which is putting other players under pressure when they finally get it.
We've been much better in second halves of games this season so hopefully that continues
The ref's performance is the perfect example of ruining what should be a great contest.
It is a derby ffs and there hasnt been anything too much.
But because he is blowing for every little niggle/debatable dive, he now feels obliged to dish yellows out.
A strong ref would have got ahold of the first instance and refused to give Arsenal a freekick and told their players to shut up.
But he gave it, Arsenal knew they could do it and get away with it and he has to keep consistency that he has allowed.
Doesn’t help that the goons go down if you so much as look at them. The ref's performance is the perfect example of ruining what should be a great contest.

Red?Pretty happy with that, besides the ref
agreed I’d back him to of finish all 3 of Johnson’s chances tbhSolomon against a tired defence should be good second half.
