What's new

Are we having our bad spell or are we running out of steam?

And here's an interesting/tangential thing to consider, can you (sometimes) be misled by watching the match? What I mean is, I actually stopped watching the Arsenal match

I finally understand how you come to some of the conclusions you do now.

We all knew this run of games would take it out of us and it has. Add to that the injuries and niggles sustained by the majority of our squad over the last month or two and you can see why we are where we are.

That being said we're still 7 points clear of Arsenal and Chelsea and Arsenal still have Newcastle, City and Chelsea to play this season and Chelsea still have us, City, Newcastle, Arsenal and Liverpool to play.

Frankly given they are still in the CL i can't see Chelsea gaining any points on us between now and the end of the season, which really only leaves Arsenal as our 3rd places contenders IMO and despite the hammering they gave us they still look shaky as of late.

I think some of you need to fucking man up, some of you sound like a bunch of girls at school crying because the guy they have been seeing for a couple of weeks left them.

For crying out loud, we are in 3rd place, 7 points ahead of our nearest rivals, we were all worried about this patch of games, but most of us agreed taht after Chelsea away, the run in was kind to us. What has changed?? Nothing, apart from the shit result and performance on Sunday.

We will finish 3rd, this was a bad blip, that is all.

And yet all my conclusions/predictions are correct (I mean, they literally are, not bragging but... ) - efficiency is awesome. I post less, now I watch less, soon I will become a singularity.

United are resting Howard Webb for this one, so I think we have a chance.

I find this hard to believe...he'll be in the stadium somewhere...communicating through the dummy-ref's earpiece - which is amazing, because Beetroot Head communicates through Webb's ringpiece, meaning Beetroot Head is indirectly controlling the dummy-ref via Webb's ringpiece Eek

Really...Webb always has a hand in this result...rumour has it that he even disguises himself as Mark Clatty Clattenburg for this fixture, having disappeared the real Clatty years ago

If you count the arsenal game.as.a.blip then you should consider newcastle a blip. Take those two out and on balance of.play we've under achieved recently. I still think were safe for 3rd, we've only got two games.left against anyone in the top 7. I think It's mostly been a lack of squad rotation again so nothing unusual for spurs under.harry.
